SP - Entrepreneurship

"The SP is so FUN!"

"The Primary two kids are so cute!"

"I love selling keychains to them!"

Those are what I heard during and after the SP (Special Programme). The last SP this semester was quite fun? Maybe it was a bit fun but personally, I don't really like selling the soft toy keychains.

The one hour we are given before the kids came into the AVA room was like rush hour. My group had to put up posters, decide where we could put the keychains, make balloons which we later will give to the kids, and get some transparent plastic bags from the canteen store aunties because we forgotten to prepare them for the packaging for the toys.

And because of the packaging, I had to run down to the canteen and up again. I think I nearly die, considering I was not so strong physically and I am not used to rushing.

I was the accountant of the my group though I had to do some decorating job too. Some kids are quite scared of us, maybe because most of us are sorta big-sized to them and Melissa pratically shouted at them in the face the prices of the toys.

Morever, I not so good at dealing with kids despite having two younger siblings at home. Honestly, I am quite scared of children, just like I have a phobia for cats. (I could never figure out the reason but my grandmother said that it was because my zodiac sign was rat)

Another reason to our bad business is simply because our stall is at a pathetic corner in the room and no one bothers to prepare the decorative items. We tried to used balloons and lollipops to attract the kids but it didn't really work. A balloon isn't so attractive to me, a lollipop is better.

While I was bust stuffing some 'notes' in the plastic bag I had in a corner of the table, I notice that some kids actually bought several keychains, all of the same design and that was very silly. I like a variety of keychain, not all of the same design.

Actually, we cheated a little by selling balloons and lollipops to the kids. They do not have enough money to pay for those keychains and Melissa sorta cheated their money by selling the balloons. I hope that they would not tell their teachers about that or we will all be in hot soup, very hot one.

At the end of the day, I felt pretty tired maybe due to talking to the kids who had some hearing problem. Or maybe they just stand there doing nothing except stare at us and we had to really talk very loudly at them. That was very frustrating.

Why are after-exam days so boring?

I wonder does it have to do with my thinking all that after-exam days are always boring. Maybe some witchteacher hate to see school kids so happy after exams and put a curse on the after-exam days, making it totally boring and unbearable.

I just got the feeling of emptiness and boredom right after exam or may I say, right after I know all my marks because maybe all the excitement has gone down? Or I have nobody to play with after exams? Maybe I might get excited after I got my report book but the excitement can only last for a short period of time.

It seems that the only things I could do to occupy my time is watching television, blogging (I am doing that right now) or playing with my rubics cube but it was a bit boring but now.

What can I do now? No one is online on MSN, I can't talk to Yu Xin on the phone and nobody seems to be posting on their blog, especially Huien. She was not online for such a long period of time and her blog was quite dead.

It is CCA and SP tomorrow. I dreaded CCA because I hate Chinese Orchestra and the teacher is sure going to force me to learn some stupid songs for some July concert. I am not going for the concert and definitely not going to learn the song. But Ms Foo told us this good news today. THERE WILL BE NO CCA TOMORROW!!!

So, during the CCA time, I could stay in the library to do my homework. And then it will be the Speical Programmes where we will be selling some soft toys to the Primary two kids. I am quite excited about it but anyway, I am the accountant, in-charge of the profits we made. And I am in the same group as Smartie Melissa.

Anyway, I am good in Mathematics so counting the money would not be a problem for me. especially when a calculator will be provided for me!

Remember I said that I watch television shows to occupy my time. There is one show called 我的野蛮奶奶. Some parts of it are quite humorous. I quite like it.

I was quite shock when I heard that GLADYS actually thinks that Revision paper are boring. I don't think they are boring at all, especially Mathematics, because I could do new questions. I like doing new Mathematics sums.

The other day, I was wondering why I was so good in Mathematics and I think one of the reason is because I like counting when I young. When I was still an infant, I lived in a village in China and my grandparents brought me up because my parents were in Singapore looking for a job.

As my grandparents were quite poor, they do not actually have much money to buy proper toys for me and I could only play with the leftover Yakult bottles. I have got tons of them and other than using them to build 'castles', I also counted them.

Sometimes, I would split the bottles into groups and count the number of bottles in each groups. then I would put the groups together again and then count them again. Though I was good at counting, I was exceptionally late in learning how to talk. My grandmother told me that I learnt how to speak several months later than other kids.

It was quite late now. I guess I have to go. Bye!

Batik Painting (very troublesome)

So many interesting things happen yesterday. I am in a ultra good mood! First was this tiring but fun Batik Painting and then a hilarious assembly session plus a piece of great news. I got back my English paper today too!

But as I have said, I won't divulge my results in my blog until I got back my report book. Many of you must already have known my results.

Okay, so let me tell you about the very troublesome Batik Painting. I was super careful during the whole time because Fiona told me some bastard pour the hot melted wax on her arm and scald her.

Don't let me spot that bastard or else he will get it from me. Who ask him to bully my Bestie.

Anyway, then whole Batik session was quite fun. The only problem was that the 'pen container' that holds the melted wax used to draw the outline out was blocked by something and thus the wax can't come out.

My drawing was so funny. But I am drawing from memory. Of course it is funny. The 'wax container' was so fat!

I think I was the last one to finish the outline. But it has its advantages too! After I scribble my name with much difficulty on the batik clothes, I started painting the whole painting, worrying that the paint will go out of the outline.

My painting was of a HIBISCUS of three colours. The first on at the very bottom was purple, the middle one was pink and the last one was orange. Unfortunately, I didn't got the painting back so I can't show you the painting.

After I finished the foreground, I started on the background. I wet the background first before colouring it with red, pink, purple, green, yellow and orange. I sort of mixed them together. The whole painting was quite nice except for the part where I accidentally spilt the stupid melted wax and I couldnot get them off.

Because of the Batik Painting, I skipped my recess to finish the painting and thus I didn't eat anything. And I got gastric pain. I always got there when I did not eat on time. the pain was not so severe at first, I mean it was not so painful so I just ignore it and drank a little bit of water.

Then it was the assembly period which I first thought was boring because assembly was always boring. but this time round it was so hilarious. There are a few parts where we laugh till so... that my stomach become so painful and I could not bear it.

There was one part where those performers sing and one part of the song was like "yellow polka dot bikini" and everyone laughed like mad. I just could not bear the pain that immediately when I returned to class, I drank several gulps of water.

And then in the night I got some good news but I won't tell you anything about that yet. except... I HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR THE ASIAN PPACIFIC MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM SUPER HAPPY!!! GOOD LUCK FOR ME!!!

Then today's Social Study was quite interesting too. It was like something about inventing some things that will help in learnign and teaching. Mine was a bookshelf wth special features called the "ULTRA CONVENIENT BOOKSHELF". Quite Lame.

BYE!

I ABSOLUTELY HATE NINCOMPOOPS!!!!!

And you know who the nincompoop is? Yes you are right, BEH YUN XI! (Yun Xi, you are going to get famous, or better still, notorious, like it?) She is totally irritating and annoying with a negative EQ and IQ (that is minus [a number]). Here is another example to prove it. I better keep those eidence safe and get a lot of witnesses just in case in the future there has a new law stating that all nincompoops must stay in an isolated island away from the normal human race. Then there won't be nincompoops here anymore to make your blood boil and make you nearly vomit them out. Here is a screenplay. Hope it don't get the intestines out of you.

7.50am - One of the 'cream' class in a certain primary school in Singapore is currently having Physical Education lessons. In the background, some girls are playing Captain's ball and squealing away in delight when they scored a goal, boys were playing around with a basketball lamely and shy ones were in a corner of the field either reading a book or chatting to their friends. GIRLFROMMARS and her friend FISHYakaREBECCA were one of those shy ones (weird, isn't it?) seatting in a corner on one of those benches. GIRLFROMMARS was reading a story book while FISHY was chatting to her and listening to the nonsense of YUNXI at the same time. Another girl, EMILY perhaps, was sitting next to GIRLFROMMARS watching the no action-packed game between the other girls.

YUNXI
鱼鱼! Can I sit beside you? (without waiting for a reply, she dumped herself hardly on the handle of the bench)

FISHY (disgusted)
Can you just stand there?

GIRLFROMMARS (disgusted too)
YAP! You are so... fat (she was hestitated to say it at first), so it suit to better if you stand up.

FISHY (frustrated)
You are squeezing the life out of me.

YUNXI (spotted the pair of holographic material spectacles which GIRLFROMMARS is using as a bookmark)
Hey what is that? (snatch it from GIRLFROMMARS without any permission)

FISHY (curious)
Let me see, what is it?

GIRLFROMMARS
Well, if you use it to look at distant light when it was dark, you can see some picture of snowflakes or snowman.

YUNXI
Hey I want see. (put the spectacles to her eyes) I can't see any snowman. Are you sure this is not fake?

GIRLFROMMARS (annoyed, snatched back the spectacles from YUNXI without saying anything)

YUNXI (whisper some childish gossips to FISHY and dumped herself on the poor handles again)

FISHY
GOD! Can't you sit somewhere else? I am not skinny okay!

YUNXI (unable to notice Fishy's frustration)
You are very sexy and skinny! (put one of her big fa leg on FISHY's skirt leaving a print on it despite she knew that Fishy hate that)

FISHY (very very very very angry)
CAN YOU STOP THAT A NOT?

I just hate her so much. Why can't she stop her nonsense just for once? Why must she be so irritating. I just can't stand her anymore. The next time she get on my nerves, I am really going to shout at her.

The Water Bottle Incident

I was in the hall, trying so solve a puzzle Bukoh gave. Out of the blue, I saw the book which I borrowed from Lay Shuen, "Deception Point", had some small puddles of water on it. So I just took a tissue paper to wipe it away.

And then I discover water leaking out from my waterbottle. The waterbottle cap had cracked! And WATER HAD BEEN LEAKING OUT FOR DON'T KNOW HOW LONG! AND MY WHOLE BAG WAS SO WET!

And I moved my bag to somewhere else and just sat there because I do not know what to do. I had never have my water bottle leaked before.

Then Mr Tan came and when he saw the mess, he asked my to clean up the whole place. And I had to made several trips to the toilet to get toilet paper to wipe the floor. It was utterly disgusting.

After I dropped the wet and slimy toilet papers in the rubbish bin, I dashed all the way to the toilet to wash my hands.

(I apologise for not posting so frequently, nothing interesting is happening and I will not divulge my marks for SA1 until I have gotten my report book. Teehee! But I guess everyone know about it already. Almost everyone.)

I have got nothing else to post about. That's all, BYE!

EXAM IS OVER!!!!!

Exams are finally OVER! I guess Christalle and Fiona and others must be having great fun at the party. HAVE FUN!

Anyway, I had nothing to post about. There is nothing that get on my nerves today except for one particular one.

JESSICA IS SO BOSSSYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Well, it was like school dismissal time and we are packing up our bags. I went over to Vanessa to 'hit' (it wasn't really hit, just pat) her because she had been kicking my chair thousands of times, sometimes even hit my head, for no reason these few days.

So, I decide to take revenge and pat her on her arm. As you all know, Vanessa is those kind who will yell even if you just touch her. And I am patting her now, so won't she yell even louder?

And then Jessica, out of nowhere, came and shout: "Xingyue! Stop hitting Vanessa and hard! You are goin to break her arm!" in a very high pitch, acting cute while doing so. I almost want to puke. Vanessa is so rich, which means she is sure drinking a lot of milk that built up bones everyday. So how can her arm break?

As I said in the previous post, I will ignore her. Well I continuing patting Vanessa for fun and just as Jessica wanted to shout again, I walk away to Fishy.

Well I heard them talking to each other, mentioning my names a few time. I guess Jessica is going to complain to Mrs Chan but I am not going to care about that anymore. What do Jessica think she is? Do she think she is still in Primary one, that she is still a Primary one kid which complain about everything? Even Primary one kids was not as complainqueen as her. Don't you agree?

I guess maybe Jessica still thinks that she is the teacher's pet. NO! She isn't. In fact, I don't think anyone is.

By the way, I guess some people may wonder why I was called out by Mrs Chan along with Melissa and Mengxue. It is not that we are the top three are that we are selected for some competition. In fact, she is talking to us, saying that we have to buck up. That is all! Maybe she call us out because she did not want to embarress us.

A riddle:

This is a truly unusual paragraph, though it might not look that way at first. It is missing a part that most paragraphs usually contains. But it loks so normal that you would think nothing was wrong with it. Actually, nothing was wrong with it. So can you find why this paragraph is so unusual?

Check out answer in next post!

That's all.

Examples of Bossy Queen

Some people can be so bossy. They love to mind someone else's business so much and order them around as if he/she were their mother. While, then just go and marry and give birth to some poor pathetic child who will grow up getting ordered around by you! But maybe he/she is so bossy that no one likes to marry he/she.

Here is another screenplay of one of the most bossy girl I have ever met. Enjoy.

6.45am - A noisy parade ground in a certain primary school on the little red dot. In the background, girls are gossiping and squealing at stuffs, boys are playing and hitting each other, other pupils are just reading their books or revising for their science exams.

In a certain class at the parade ground, a girl(GIRLFROMMARS) was asking her other friends about where she could buy a certain book. Just then, she spotted the Lightning Risk Alert blinking wildly, which means they would have to go to the hall.

In the hall

GIRLFROMMARS saw that her classmates were not sitting down. She went forward and sat near the 6U. The bossy queen (JESSICA) saw and yell at her.

JESSICA
GIRLFROMARS! Why are you sitting down in front of the 6U! You should sit in the 6R first row not second row!

GIRLFROMMARS (angry)
Sit here cannot is it? Not your problem right? You could jolly well sit in the boys row if you want sit with the boys.

JESSICA (yelling)
Girlfrommars! I give you one more chance to seat in the front row before I complaint to Mrs Chan!

GIRLFROMMARS (annoyed and angry, in a calm and stable voice)
You can complaint all you can, I don't think Mrs Chan will scold me anyway since I had not done anything wrong. All I did was to sit down in the second row because no one is sitting down.

JESSICA (face red and boiling)
Fine! You can sit wherever you want!!!!!!!!

JESSICA aka BOSSY QUEEN lose face and was force to sit down in the second row too.

I can't imagine it. All I did was to sit in the second row because that was how we normally sit, boys in the front row and girls in the second row. And Jessica wanted to complain to Mrs Chan just because of that?

Honestly, I was really not frighten when she threatened to complain to Mrs Chan. I wasn't even a bit scared. I was just angry and annoyed.

At that point of time, all I want is to have one ultra big rifle with enormous explosive bullets that would explode when come into contact with human flesh. And then I could take it and shoot her. But I would go to jail and there is absolutely no point facing the four bare walls just because of some bossy queens.

One thing that I just don't understand is why can't I sit in the second row. Maybe because I might talk to my best friends in 6U? But still, don't I have the right to talk to my best friends for a mere five minutes? The short twenty minutes was just not enough to me, minusing ten minutes I take to go to the canteen, buy some food and eat them, I would only have ten minutes left. So can't I have another five minutes to talk to my friends? I don't think Jessica would like to have only ten minutes out of twenty-four hours to talk to her friends, isn't it? Even thought I might be able to call them, I still could talk as much as I did last year when they were still in the same class as me.

Anyway, the conclusion is, Jessica is too bossy, over bossy. I will never talk to her again.

****************

I am so bored! Even though the exam was not over yet, I still feel like having nothing to revise for mainly because the Higher Mother Tongue had nothing to study for.

Only like a few questions in the paper test us about the words we had learnt and most of them are similar to the Basic Chinese. Furthermore, most of them test our comprehension skills and the comprehension passage used are unexpected. So what do you expect me to do?

By the way, Mrs Chan told us that the English paper was badly done. Some even got zero marks for the vocabulary section while some others fail Booklet B. I am praying hard that it wasn't me.

As for today's Science paper, Huien's name was in it! THE LAST QUESTION! Mrs Chan said we did badly for that paper too. Some even scored 36/60 *GASP* for Booklet A!

Fortunately, I heard that we did quite well for the Chinese and Math paper (Mdmd Foo told us) except for a few idiots who did not revise or did the corretions for pass Math Revision Papers.

I hope I could get into the Top 10 but the chances are very slim given that many others may do much better than me, but let's hope for the best. I wanted to get at least a 270/300, which will be a five marks improvement from my SA2 score.

*Clasp my hands together and pray*

I hope clasp is the right word but I could not remeber clearly.

Another thing is that are any of you playing VIWAWA? If yes, please tell me by leaving a comment at the end of the post or MSNing me (only for people I know) because I am super bored and I have got no one to play with. Stickgal is so gifted at drawing comics, isn't it?

And I am also not going to Christalle's EOP (Exam Over Party) not because my mother object to it but because I don't feel like going there. I just can't play peacefully without thinking about my results, how bad or how good it is. Unless I know my results, I would not be able to play peacefully. And there are also people whom I detest going to the party. Not you, Fiona!

Let me write somemore since I have had nothing better to do.

Oh yes!

I was reading the DA VINCI CODE the other day and it was like so nice. I mean the plot. And I discover somethings. Well, you can go wikipedia to search for THE DA VINCI CODE and read the brief plot there. Stella is going to lend me THE DA VINCI CODE movie DVD after exam! YAY!!!

Enough talk about that.

I had nothing else to talk about now. I am now reading "Deception Point" by Dan Brown. BYE!

Examples of Nincompoops

Sometimes, people can be such a simpleton that he or she never understand anything. Either that person's EQ is super low (when I mean super low I really mean EQ 0 or less, like EQ-50 perhaps) or that person is simply to thick-face.

Here is one example of it written into a screenplay:

10.30 - It was recess time in a certain Primary School on the little red dot. Girls and boys are laughing away at lame jokes or playing catching in the background. Two good friends were walking down the staircase, chatting happily as they did, (one of them is me and another is Fishy) when a A stout girl with her dry hair flying all over (annoying YUN XI) sauntered up to them, wiggling her humongous hips.

YUNXI (screaming her head off)
Hey, MARSIE!!! WHY DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR?

GIRLFROMMARS
Hmm...?

YUNXI
Why did you cut your hair?

GIRLFROMMARS (Getting a bit annoyed)
Because I like it.

YUNXI (acting all professional fashion adviser)
You know what? You look much prettier when you tied your hair. So why did you cut it?

GIRLFROMMARS (annoyed, tried to hint YUNXI by talking to FISHY and ignoring her so as not to embarressed her)

YUNXI (not getting the hint and acting all professional fashion adviser again)
You shouldn't cut your hair until so short you know? Or else it would be all messy like a battlefield after a war and you would have to use hair gel. You probably don't want to spent your money on hair gel do you? So why did you cut your hair so short???

GIRLFROMMARS (exasperated, hollered angrily in YUNXI's fat face)
DOES IT CONCERN YOU WHETHER I CUT MY HAIR OR NOT? YOU CUT YOURS TOO, DIDN'T YOU? WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR ARE, MY MOTHER OR WHAT? EVEN MY MOTHER WOULD NOT ASK ME IF I HAD CUT MY HAIR SO WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP BOTHERING ME WITH THIS IDIOTIC QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!! AND SO WHAT IF I LOOK PRETTIER IN PONYTAIL!!!!!!!!!!! I LIKE TO LOOK UGLY AND DOES IT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YUNXI finally got the message into her deep skull and went over to the unfortunate STELL strolling to the canteen.

YUNXI (thick-skin again)
MUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STELLA (extremely annoyed by her, obviously)
YOU STOP CALLING ME THAT OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM NOT A LESBIAN!!!!!!!!!!! I AM GOING TO IGNORE YOU FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YUNXI (ultra thick-skin)
You said you will ignore me so why did you talk to me just now?

GIRLFROMMARS shakes her head and continue chat with FISHY while YUNXI amble back to them, wiggling her mammoth hips as she did so.

GOOD RIDDANCE. You got what I mean? Seriously, I wonder how can some people's face are so thick. Are they made of leather?

Well normally, I would not keep stuffing some lame questions into another's ear. I could still remember that time when Vanessa started wearing ponytails, all I did ask was, "You hair is very messy, why don't you braided it, and your fringe was ultra long too. I guess you have to cut it.

And Vanessa replied, "I layered my hair so I can't tie braids for the time being."

And I will just so 'Oh' or 'Okay...' and continue doing whatever things I am doing.

Or maybe sometimes I would joke, "Why are you so short?" and other simliar questions which I don't mean to use it as a weapon to hurt other.

My Muse: http://rebecca-cherry-coke.blogspot.com/2008/05/mystery-of-friendship.html

Well, lets see. It was Math paper today but I won't say much because I knew some people did very badly.

You know what did the SUPER EXTREMELY ULTRA IRRITATING AND ANNOYING YUNXI said about the Math paper?

"Hey you know what? The Math Paper today was so easy. Even if you didn't recheck the whole paper you also could get full marks, do you know that? I still don't understand why so many pupils was so nervous about it." (What a sadist!)

I was ubber angry at her and told Fiona about the mean remarks. Fiona was angry too, "If it was so easy, score full marks then! Maybe when the results comes out, she is the only one crying!"

Thank goodness I am not her (referring to the sadist) familly member.

Let me change the subject. Here is a story to all for Mother's Day:

A Motivational Story with Wisdom -
A Mothers Love
by Author Unknown

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his Mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:

For cutting the grass: $5.00
For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00
For going to the store for you: $.050
Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: $.025
Taking out the garbage: $1.00
For getting a good report card: $5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00
Total owed: $14.75

Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he'd written on, and this is what she wrote:

For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me: No Charge
For all the nights that I've sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you: No Charge
For all the trying times, and all the tears that you've caused through the years: No Charge
For all the nights that were filled with dread, and for the worries I knew were ahead: No Charge
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose: No Charge
Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is: No Charge

When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said, "Mom, I sure do love you." And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: "PAID IN FULL".

ENJOY!

Muse please HELP ME!!

You should be wondering who Muse is. I read in a book that it is a Greek god which inspire people. And right now I need inspiration to write something.

Perhaps My Muse went to help someone. He is ignoring me.

Anyway, I could still remember last year when Mdm Chng taught us about the Ancient Civilisation and I did some sort of research on my own.

Duing the research, I found a website about the greek mythology. One of them was about the Odyssey.

You know what? The whole thing was damn complicated.

Tell me, O muse, of that ingenious hero who travelled farand wide after he had sacked the famous town of Troy. Many cities did he visit, and many were the nations with whose manners and customs he was acquainted; moreover he suffered much by sea while trying to save his own life and bring his men safely home; but do what he might he could not save his men, for they perished through their own sheer folly in eating the cattle of the Sun-god Hyperion; so the god prevented them from ever reaching home. Tell me, too, about all these things, O daughter of Jove, from whatsoever source you may know them.

This is an extracted from The Odyssey, it is the first paragraph of Book one. And there are 24 books altogether.

Already, I don't understand the whole thing. What does sacked the famous city means? Does he fired them? Or does he kill everyone in there? And is the daughter of Jove? Who is Jove?

The whole thing was translated by this person called Samuel Butler. I don't think I would even understand the whole thing if it was not translated.

Well, my favourite story in the Greek Mythology was about the Pandora thing.

So now all who escaped death in battle or by shipwreck had got safely home except Ulysses, and he, though he was longing to return to his wife and country, was detained by the goddess Calypso, who had got him into a large cave and wanted to marry him. But as years went by, there came a time when the gods settled that he should go back to Ithaca; even then, however, when he was among his own people, his troubles were not yet over; nevertheless all the gods had now begun to pity him except Neptune, who still persecuted him without ceasing and would not let him get home.

That is the second paragraph of The Odyssey. It has no connection with the first one. So who is Ulysses? Who is Calyspo? Why she wanted to marry Ulysses? Where is Ithaca?

I just don't understand the whole paragraphs because IT IS SO WEIRD!

I found my body

I FINALLY FOUND MY BODY BACK!!! OH YAY!!! But now I am sort of missing my ghost friends.

Anyway, I suddenly found out that if I don't write something which I want to within that day, I would know be able to write that the next day because I had no inspiration to write that.

Anyway, little homework today so I can use computer.

Fishy got a new blog here! http://rebecca-cherry-coke.blogspot.com/

Here is a nice story, perhaps many have read it before:

A TEENAGER'S VIEW OF HEAVEN
17-year-old Brian Moore had only a short time to write something for a class. The subject was what Heaven was like. 'I wowed 'em,' he later told his father, Bruce. 'It's a killer. It's the bomb. It's the best thing I ever wrote..' It also was the last.

Brian Moore died May 27, 1997, the day after Memorial Day. He was driving home from a friend's house when his car went off Bulen-Pierce Road in Pickaway County and struck a utility pole. He emerged from the wreck unharmed but stepped on a downed power line and was electrocuted.

The Moores framed a copy of Brian's essay and hung it among the family portraits in the living room. 'I think God used him to make a point. I think we were meant to find it and make something out of it,' Mrs. Moore said of the essay. She and her husband want to share their son's vision of life after death. 'I'm happy for Brian. I know he's in heaven. I know I'll see him.'

Brian's Essay: The Room...
In that place between wakefulness and dreams, I found myself in the room.. There were no distinguishing features except for the one wall covered with small index card files. They were like the ones in libraries that list titles by author or subject in alphabetical order. But these files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and seemingly endless in either direction, had very different headings. As I drew near the wall of files, the first to catch my attention was one that read 'Girls I have liked.' I opened it and began flipping through the cards. I quickly shut it, shocked to realize that I recognized the names written on each one. And then without being told, I knew exactly where I was.

This lifeless room with its small files was a crude catalog system for my life. Here were written the actions of my every moment, big and small, in a detail my memory couldn't match. A sense of wonder and curiosity, coupled with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening files and exploring their content. Some brought joy and sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching.

A file named 'Friends' was next to one marked 'Friends I have betrayed.' The titles ranged from the mundane to the outright weird 'Books I Have Read,' 'Lies I Have Told,' 'Comfort I have Given,' 'Jokes I Have Laughed at .' Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: 'Things I've yelled at my brothers.' Others I couldn't laugh at: 'Things I Have Done in My Anger', 'Things I Have Muttered Under My Breath at My Parents.' I never ceased to be surprised by the contents.

Often there were many more cards than I expected. Sometimes fewer than I hoped. I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my years to fill each of these thousands or even millions of cards? But each card confirmed this truth. Each was written in my own handwriting. Each signed with my signature.

When I pulled out the file marked 'TV Shows I have watched', I realized the files grew to contain their contents. The cards were packed tightly, and yet after two or three yards, I hadn't found the end of the file. I shut it, shamed, not so much by the quality of shows but more by the vast time I knew that file represented.

When I came to a file marked 'Lustful Thoughts,' I felt a chill run through my body. I pulled the file out only an inch, not willing to test its size and drew out a card. I shuddered at its detailed content.

I felt sick to think that such a moment had been recorded. An almost animal rage broke on me. One thought dominated my mind: No one must ever see these cards! No one must ever see this room! I have to destroy them!' In insane frenzy I yanked the file out. Its size didn't matter now. I had to empty it and burn the cards. But as I took it at one end and began pounding it on the floor, I could not dislodge a single card. I became desperate and pulled out a card, only to find it as strong as steel when I tried to tear it.

Defeated and utterly helpless, I returned the file to its slot. Leaning my forehead against the wall, I let out a long, self-pitying sigh.

And then I saw it.. The title bore 'People I Have Shared the Gospel With.' The handle was brighter than those around it,seemed newer, almost unused. I pulled on its handle and a small box not more than three inches long fell into my hands. I could count the cards it contained on one hand.

And then the tears came. I began to weep. Sobs so deep that they hurt. They started in my stomach and shook through me. I fell on my knees and cried. I cried out of shame, from the overwhelming shame of it all. The rows of file shelves swirled in my tear-filled eyes. No one must ever, ever know of this room. I must lock it up and hide the key. But then as I pushed away the tears, I saw Him.

No, please not Him. Not here. Oh, anyone but Jesus. I watched helplessly as He began to open the files and read the cards. I couldn't bear to watch His response. And in the moments I could bring myself to look at His face, I saw a sorrow deeper than my own.

He seemed to intuitively go to the worst boxes. Why did He have to read every one? Finally He turned and looked at me from across the room. He looked at me with pity in His eyes. But this was a pity that didn't anger me. I dropped my head, covered my face with my hands and began to cry again. He walked over and put His arm around me. He could have said so many things. But He didn't say a word. He just cried with me.

Then He got up and walked back to the wall of files. Starting at one end of the room, He took out a file and, one by one, began to sign His name over mine on each card. 'No!' I shouted rushing to Him. All I could find to say was 'No, no,' as I pulled the card from Him. His name shouldn't be on these cards. But there it was, written in red so rich, so dark, so alive. The name of Jesus covered mine. It was written with His blood. He gently took the card back. He smiled a sad smile and began to sign the cards. I don't think I'll ever understand how He did it so quickly, but the next instant it seemed I heard Him close the last file and walk back to my side.

He placed His hand on my shoulder and said, 'It is finished.' I stood up, and He led me out of the room. There was no lock on its door. There were still cards to be written.

'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.'-Phil. 4:13 'For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.' If you feel the same way forward it so the love of Jesus will touch their lives also My 'People I shared the gospel with' file just got bigger, how about yours?

IF THERE IS ONE EMAIL THAT I HAVE READ THAT NEEDS TO GO AROUND THE WORLD, IT IS THIS ONE, FOR THE CHRISTIAN OR NOT! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
You don't have to share this with anybody, no one will know whether you did or not, but what do you feel in your heart?

Nice right?

Another story:

The love story of Ralph and Edna.

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have…

Ralph and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool Ralph suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there.
Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled him out.

When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable.

When she went to tell Edna the news she said, 'Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged, since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of the person you love. I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness.
The bad news is, Ralph hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead.'

Edna replied, 'He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?'

Fiona Killed Me

Fiona had killed me. I am now a spirit. Actually she just seperated my body and spirit. But that was like killing me. Let me start from the begining.

I was in the parade ground reading my story book when Fiona came to me and say she will kill me. I don't take it seriously.

Later on, we went up to the classroom and Mrs Chan wanted us to think up a conversation, the topics are either Food, or Exercise. My group choose food.

The food thing was pretty easy, we discuss and Melissa wrote them on a piece of fullscap, adding in vocabulary phrases and general knowledge where necessary.

Then we have this presentation thingy. Melissa when up to present out work. Angela's group went first, followed by Melissa. Then the skinny Yi Lun when up to present. He have quite a lot of mistakes and we all laugh till out stomach ache. But the winning team was Vanessa's group.

We go through Revision Papers. I got 93/100 for the Math Revision Paper. Then we also went through some English Revision papers.

And we did some listening comprehension too. I got 18/20 for it. That was about 90%. And during the whole time, my stomach was grumbling.

I am simply famished by the time I got down for recess and I bought this plate of Hor Fann. After I eat finish, Fiona was sort of chasing me around the school. What a waste of energy.

Then it was Chinese Period. Nothing much happen, we talked about oral pictures and that is all. And it was when I went down for lunch did the thing happen.

I was eating my ham bread and chatting with MingXuan and fiona suddenly sneaked up behind me and pushed my chair as hard as she could. I suddenly found myself floating and when I came back to my sense, Fiona vanished. So was everyone else.

I suudenly feel a sharp pain. It seems to be coming from the light bulb. I had to float all the way to the toilet and selected this very dark chamber. It was better than. Then using tissue papers, I made myself a 'umbrella' to prevent light from killing me.

I found myself having this ability to made people see me or not. I don't know how to control it yet. Everyone could still see me.

Then later during supplementary we had a hell lots of fun. It was toilet break and the girls are all laughing and playing in the toilet. I sprinkled water at Melissa.

WTH!

Mrs Chan saw and heard all the nonsense and she said that if I don't behave myself she will ask me to go to the boy's toilet in the future.

:P

Back in class, we joke that Stella show her armpit to Chenghao. Then Mrs Chan was chatting with us about armpit hair and all those stuff. Yewk! She said that some girls dislike going to NanYang Girl's because of the uniform. If you lift your arm, everyone would be able to see the forest of hair.

And we went home.

It was drizzling during my way home but the problem is, I can see the rain but cannot feel them.

I knew I had became a spirit but I know I am still not dead. I could heard my heart beating and my blood flowing throughout the body. But I could not find my body. Fiona must have hide it somewhere.

It was at night and I drifted out of the house because I cannot sleep. I don't think spirit sleeps. It was funny feeling to just pass through the door without opening it. I felt this brown colour thing and then I am out of my house.

I went down to my school to began my search. I didn't realise there are so many ghost around there! I made friends with some.

They told me a lot of things. I am going to tell you later. Right now I have to revise my oral for exam tomorrow.

So I met these few ghost friends, Witch, BabyDragon, Ah-Girl and Uncle Benben.

Witch was really a witch. I found out that she founded Singapore, not Stamford Raffles. In fact, Raffles was her son who killed her to get the Island now known as Singapore. Then he made up the whole story of how he found Singapore. Merlion was actually Witch's pet.

BabyDragon is very cute. I heard from other ghosts that his mother had die. I mean the ghost of BabyDragon's mother was exposed to sunlight and died. I felt so sad for him. Isn't BabyDragon cute?

Then it was Ah-Girl. She looks so sad so I told her some jokes to cheer her up. Uncle Benben told me that she was raped and killed by her father. How Cruel!

It seems that Uncle Benben was the only ghost was had a happy life. He was a poor farmer who died of old age.

I learnt some lessons from them:

  1. Never go near a litted place. One you get expose to light, you will died from pain, like BabyDragon's mother. I don't want that to happen to me, since I had not found my body yet.
  2. Ghost could pass through solid objects, like wall. BUT NEVER PASS THROUGH A HUMAN BEING or you will be trapped in the body and could not come out. I don't want to get trapped too.
  3. Ghost could move things by just concentrating on the object. It is the only way of moving things since ghost cannot touch solid objects. Of course, I am concentrating on my keyboard to do the typing now. It is quite tiring because I had not master it yet.
  4. Ghost could teleport to some other place by just imagine the place in your head. I try that but I was not so effectice in it because I was imagining the school's clock tower and got teleported too Big Ben! Uncle Benben had to teleport there by imagining the school's clock tower wrongly because he had never seen Big Ben before.
  5. I also learnt how to make on certain humans to see me. I try that in front of a taxi driver who is driving and he freak out. I had to drift off.

Somehow, I could not remember my name so those ghost called me the 'Lostgirl'. Then they said that if I still can't find my body in four days from now, my body will really die and I will really become a real ghost. Right now I am just a wander ghost.

They also told me that there is this Malay man holding a bomb and some wires whenever they go. He seems frightening from their description. No ghost dares to go near him.

I definitely don't want to meet whoever ghost he is.

Okay, it is now 5am in the morning. One more hour and I had to go for school.

I still don't feel sleepy. Being a spirit is so great sometimes.

I change my Blogskin

YO GUYS! I change my blogskin. I am sort of sick of the black colour blogkin and decided to change to a white one. It was not finish yet, I havenot add in picture for the skin.

It was so funny at the hall today. Stella was forced to sit with Chenghao. Fiona is getting jealous.

Anyway, it is quite okay today, just any mundane day. I am sick and tired of the daily routine, brushed teeth, go to school, lunch, homework. But what else can I do? I am a Primary six student.

Another one month to June Holiday. Then I can finally play and play like mad. AND I COULD GO OVER TO FISHY'S HOUSE!

Mrs Chan scolded me today. She was going through some Math questions and I was bending down to pick up something from the ground when she spotted me and actually thought I was not paying attention.

Then she said that my work is slacking and I better pay attention to her. She said that my newspaper cutting review was too short. I was maligned! There isn't any interesting news to write about!

(Actually she wasn't scolding me. I don't hate her either.)

It was so frustrating. I went to the Nanyang Girls' Website and could not find the results.

Fishy wasn't home yet. It was about one whole hour since I last called her at 1pm. She does not have to stay back today so there must be something weird. I have got two revision papers to do today, Math and English. I guess I could finish them within two hours.

Well, I just realised that Fishy went over to Red-butt Monkey's house. She told me not to call her so early anymore.

By the way, I am only calling her to confirm with her the homework in case I missed any out.

OH CONGRATULATIONS TO STELLA LIANG LIN YING OF PRIMARY 6R IN RPS!!!!!!! SHE GOT INTO THE TOP 30 FOR THE BILINGUAL OLYMPIAD!

She is so pro, right?

Anyway, I hate my mother checking my homework. She sort of make me feel that she don't trust me and I cannot do my work properly.

Here are some nice quotes:

True friends visit us in prosperity only when invited, but in adversity they come without invitation.

We never know the true value of friends. While they live we are too sensitive of their faults; when we have lost them we only see their virtues.

Our critics are our friends, they show us our faults.

Friendship is always a sweet responsibility, never an opportunity.

We know our friends by their defects rather than by their merits.

Friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life.

We know our friends by their defects rather than by their merits.

We better tolerate imperfect friends. Perfect ones wouldn’t tolerate us.

Adversity does teach who your real friends are.

Only your real friends tell you when your face is dirty.

It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.

Friendship is contagious. Too many of us wait to catch it from others, instead of letting others catch it from us.

Nice right? There are many more here. Got to go!

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

Bilingual and Math Olympiad

I am so bored. Mrs Chan gave us long long sermons because some idiots wrote in the journal to her that she giving to much homework and that everyone is reading storybooks under their desk during her lessons.

I was like WTF, we are P6, of course we will get a lot of homework, furthermore, the homework was like so little. And nobody is reading books under their desk.

I suspect the person was Tze Kiat because when Mrs Chan told us about this, she glared at Tze Kiat. Some more Tze kiat kept tearing small bits of papers and throwing it on the floor although Mrs Chan scold him for that. Anyway, I heck care about him.

-----

Sometimes, I think that Mrs Chan had hired a private yet invisible detective to spy on me. She seems to know exactly what I am doing.

The moment I open my mouth (the words haven't spilt out yet), she will boom, "XingYue! Are you paying attention?" And everyone will stare at me.

This was happening to me since the first day of school. Of course, I am not complaining but as you know, I am the talkative type. I will never survive even one hour without talking.

I wonder why she don't spy on others?

Perhaps Mdm Chng told her about me? Oh yes, she called me wild and naughty too. But too bad, I am in 6R. (Just in case you misunderstood me, I am not angry with her for that and complaining about her. She is a nice teacher.)

-----

So, did you realize that Cailaoshi, was only in your class on Friday for only one period. Maybe you already know, but anyway, me and ten other pupils went for the Bilingual Olympiad in Nanyang Girls'.

Actually it was ten girls.

Cailaoshi read the letter given to her wrongly and we went there an hour earlier. On the bus, we were like 11 mad people laughing and making fun of each other. The weird thing was, Cailaoshi did not get mad when Stella called her names and instead, she called Stella back.

It was just not like the Cailaoshi Fiona told me about.

As we got there one hour earlier, we tour the whole school. Actually not really the whole school because it was super big. Me and Fishy only tour like 1/10 of it?

We found a small POPULAR store in a corner and went in. I did not bring my POPULAR STUDENT CARD. What a pity! But the things sold there was mainly chinese storybooks and secondary textbooks plus some snacks. I am not buying them.

So after the one hour tour, we register and when into the test room. I sat beside Fishy. We had to take a listening comprehension first and it was super difficult. Actually, the translating part was easy but you will have problem listening to the English words pronounced with an America accent.

And I didn't knew we have to translate 成语 because the information Cailaoshi gave us didn't have 成语s. But overall it is still okay.

The RESULTS ARE COMING OUT TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

Later after the test, we have this reception where we can eat those delicious food, especially the fish balls. Fishy is so cold-hearted to eat her own kind.

Then they have this School Promotion Talk. Though the uniform is nice and the facilities are okay too, I am still going to put Nanyang Girls' as second Choice. I didn't realize there is a swimming pool there.

Just as we are about to go home, Melissa fill her whole bottle with Ice Lemon Tea and we follow suit. It is free, like those buffet ones. Cailaoshi scolded us LCCS. I don't think anyone cares. We were like mad ones again on bus, especially when we got pass my house.

I sleep super early that day, after memorizing some Math Olympiad problems.

The next day...

I like Hwa Chong. It was soooooo BIG! If I were a boy, I would surely went there. The school occupies the whole lane of the road with a swimming pool and a sport stadium. how nice is that?

Math Olympiad was super hard but I still manage to complete 27/30 questions in 2 hour. It was not so fun there though. We were not allow to tour the school, probably because we might get lose in there?

------

Today is the worst day ever! I accidentally scratch my pimple and before I knew it, blood was gushing out if it. I HATE PIMPLES!!!

Other than that, I also got extremely low marks for my Math Revision Papers just because I did not read some questions correctly.

I am going to end this.

My Super Short Hairscut

AND OTHER STUPID EVENTS

I cut my hair and it looks weird. But this is not I am going to talk about, at least not now. What I am going to write about is my LATEST ADDICTION and other events since Friday.

Friday...

If you know me well enough or at least reads my blog every once in a while, you would not that I had CCA on Friday and I totally hates it. (not mentioning the CCA name in case I gets crazy.)

But the SP is great. Fiona play chess with TANGLE! Out of all people. Who ask her to curse me... Retribution. Okay, sorry Fiona.

I was so happy that I had Tuition on Friday. Because of my the tuition, I got to go home early today.

Saturday...

Early in the morning was the CCA practice enough to make you lose your appetite and vomit. Fortunately I didn't eat my breakfast.

This practice almost ruined my whole happy day. And yes, it is obviously beacuse of the stupid, dumb, idiotic £$(^*%# ASSHOLE CONDUCTOR.

I feel so good, finally get to scold him like hell. So glad that he didn't know my blog. but even if he does, I bet he won't understand it beacause his english was like so HORRIBLE!

Poor Kimberly got scolded by him because of some trival matters. To me it is trival. Here is exactly what the asshole said:

比赛要到了你还是这么懒懒散散的! 还敢敢跟我忘记带弹片! you very the "horrigible" one!!! 如果拿不到金牌也是被你们这种人害的lahh!!! 去跟我站在后面把你的中阮举得高高的hor!!!! 像你这种人hor, 真的是讲不听的lehh... Go, go to the back and stand!!!!

And yes, the "horrigible" thing is what he say. His English is horrible. (sorry if you can't read chinese.)

I am addicted to homework. If I don't have any work to do, I would be bored to death.

Oaky, (It is not typo error) now it is time for my hair cut trip part.

The lady who cut my hair was super nice. But Hate it when she cut my super long fringe. THose of you should have seen me in school with the haircut by now so I won't continue the post.

BYE!

Injection - Immunisation

19/3/08

Oh my god!!! MY ARM STILL HURTS LIKE HELL!!!!! I can't lift it up, no even halfway up.

YYYYYYYY

It was school as usual today. Of course. But I went for injection today, for immunisation purpose, to protect us against rubella and measles.

I was so scared today, as I heard that the injection is very painful.

Having the needle to go under your skin and into your raw flesh and then the fluid to flow out from the needle, the immunisation fluid, and being absorb by the flesh. It all happen in a spit second.

I was like wailing about it, my last experience with needles and injections was last year. But it seems so long ago.

At that time, they have they needle into my bloodstream at the tip of my finger to get some blood out for analysis.

It was damn painful at that time, you know, and looking at your own blood in a small bottle, the brownish-red blood, it was like a bit scary.

Okay, so I got my health booklet again, and we went to outside the AVA room, again. I still had to take out my shoes and socks and skirt.

And while we were waiting outside the room for our turn, we were all discussing about it, the pain and all those.

Then it was my turn, we were supposed to check our backbones first. A bit disgusting as we have to take out our shirt, from my experience last year. But this year was different.

Emily was the first girl, the bravest one, to have the needles into the skin and we were encouraging her. COME ON, DON'T CRY! She was sort of somewhere between speechless and embarressed.

If it was me, I guess I would be too.

When she finally had the injection, I wasn't there, I was doing the backbone checkup. First, when you went into the room, or rather the small area with curtains and cloths covering it, the nurse will ask you for your health booklet.

Then I will be giving four colour deficiency plate to test for colour blindness. It is very easy to see the numbers, so it wasn't really a challenge for me.

After that, this nurse ask me, "Are your parents tall?" I was totally shock and taken by surprise. I went for health checkups before and no one ever ask me this sort of questions.

I replied yes. I guess it was because I am too tall for my age.

The nurse then ask me questions and checked my backbones and other parts of the body, and off I went for the screening test.

It was super duper boring waiting there for the test and then sitting there while the nurse check your informations and just asked you two questions or so.

And after the screening test, which I hope will never end thought it is boring, is the horrible part of the checkup.

INJECTION!!!!!

I was exchanging places with some others, letting them go first. But my turn will still come, so I cannot escape the frightening needles that sent chills down my spine.

For a split second, the nurse and the needdles look like a witch holding a knife to chop me down into pieces before putting me into the cauldron full of boiling red liquid.

I walk unwilling to the chair, and close my eyes tight shut, covering my face with my hand. I never knew I was so scared of needles.

Later, the nurse tried to calm me down and assure me that it is just an ant bite feeling. I slowing opened my eyes just as the needle went in.

OUCH!

The feeling is like a cold solid object going into your flesh and there is this numb feeling later on. The nurse gave me this cotton wool for covering my wound and I went for the last of the horrors.

After I threw my cotton wool into the rubbish bin, (not throw up), I went to the chair there. The blue sinister looking chair there.

I sat on it and another chill went down my spine. The nurse gave me a pink liquid, a few drops of that medicine and ask me to swallow.

I played with it in my mouth at first, not sure whether or not it is safe. I mixed it with my saliva, not tasting it, and swallow.

It is bitter, very bitter, I almost want to vomit. Those people there laugh at my funny face.

Then the nurse wipe a cold liquid, the numbing thing, I suppose, on my left arm. And there the needle goes in. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PAINFUL LIKE CRAZY!

It was like so painful I can't even lift my left arm up high.

And Yun Xi purposely went to hit the painful part! I hate her so much. It doesn't mean that her arm isn't pain and my arm will not be too.

Well, that is the end of the horrors.

LLLLLLLL

After school, I had to stay back for Math Olympics training with the rest who are selected. I badly want to know my results for the RI Math contest but sadly, I lost the participation code. So bad right?

Thankfully Mr Ho help me and he passed the code to Mrs Chan. Got to asked from her tomorrow.

Next post will be about a weekend spent in Jurong Point Shopping Mall. And I would not post that often now, it is a crucial year. My computer period had end and I got to go.

Confession is good for your soul but bad for your reputation.

Start of Term 2

End of Term 1, start of Term 2.

ZZZZZZZ

I remember that days before the school reopens, I was like can not sleep peacefully. I would wake up in the middle of the night, thinking that I was still left with some homework. It was only after a while did I realise I had actually finished all of it on Wednesday. Then, I would wake up very early thinking that there is school that day.

So I was actually very happy that school finally REOPENS!!!

There was nothing to talk about today, actually, except for the tiring Chinese Orchestra practice until five o'clock. N

And the Health Checkup. I like it. Not because that I could skip lessons. I never like skipping lessons, at least not this important year.

When we arrived outside the AVA room, we were asked to sit down and later, take out our shoes and socks. I hate this part the most because the whole floor was like so dirty from the rain and stain with I-don't-know-what-but-is-very-disgusting things.

I went into the AVA room later on, (I am the last of the girls to go in). I got no idea how come I was so slow. I also got no idea why my hand was so um, well, slow and 'inactive'. I mean I don't write that fast.

I was queueing up in the AVA room, waiting to take the height and weight. Soon it was my turn. My height was 164.6cm! My weight was 41 kg. Almost. I wondered why I wasn't that excited about putting on 3kg, but was so delighted about growing a few centimeters taller.

After the measurings, I went to sit beside Melissa and wait for the nurses to measure our sight. I was so happy about this part. Not the part you have to cover your left eye, then right eye.

At first, my right eye was +0.7, but decreases to +0.56! Then my left decreases from +1.0 to +0.78!

SO HAPPY!!!!! =D

I hope my eyesight doesn't get worse.

Anyway, that is all for today. Here is a quiz from Huien Besttie!

#9] I love Math but hate doing Math homework at times.
#10] I love jumping to reach things that are hung on the ceiling.

I of course finished all my homework already or I would not be so free blogging now. You think I got nothing better to do is it?

That is all? BYE!!!!!!!!!!

Adam Khoo Super Kids Programme

This is under the request of one of my besties.

Here is the Adam Khoo Super Kids programme:

DAY 1

I woke up, a bit frightened about the Adam Khoo thing. Actually, it wasn't really the Adam Khoo thing. It was the Chinese Orchestra thing.

Sometimes I wonder how come important things always fall on the same day. We had our first day in Adam Khoo where there will be Introductory and so on.

And just my ill luck that I had to go for Chinese Orchestra practice early in the morning and then after that go to Conference Hall for rehearsal.

I don't want to go. You know what you would do there? You wait for hours there and then go into the performance hall for a few minutes to play the songs and come out.

So we went there just to um... how do I say it in english... okay, just to let those people there arrange the time and all those.

You know those in good classes and joined CO weren't a lot. Just a few only. So does it matter if we go for the rehearsal? And it waste twenty five dollars. Half a day gone.

Anyway, I didn't went for the stupid rehearsal. Well, we went into the AVA room for the programme and the 6L pupils were already there sitting.

We went in and I found a seat beside Fishy. I don't remember who was sitting beside her but anyway, it was to protect Yu Xin from sitting with the irritating Yun Xi who sat beside me in the end.

Why do I say she was irritating? For several reasons. Firstly, I paid money, or rather, my mother paid her hard earn hundred and fifty dollars to let me join the programme and it means one day will be fifty dollars.

And Yun Xi was like talking nonsense and disturbing me the whole time. She said the programme was boring and so on. She also waste her mother's hard earn money just to play with Yu Xin's puzzle and nearly got it confiscated.

Even worst was that she just take my things with asking for permission and then refused to return it to me. I really hate her.

Anyway, the programmes was so fun. Worth the money. At first the first trainer who came in was Danny, with his assistant, De Jun, DJ.

When we were told of his name, we said that there is a boy called Dany in 6R too! And we said he was his brother.

Later, he asked about our class and he said that 6R was protected by 6L and 6U because we were sitting in between the two classes.

It wasn't that funny but some boys laughed. Then he asked us about the Boy Girl Relationship thing.

It was very funny. He asked us if anyone here have girlfriends or boyfriends and everyone, or rather, all the boys pointed at Yu Xiang. Then when asked who are his girlfriends, we pointed at Vanessa and Cheryl.

Vanessa and Cheryl were so embarrassed and they were blushing. OMG....

Then when he asked again, we pointed at Huien and Guoyi. It was so funny. Huien was hiding like mad and Danny said that Guoyi had really GOOD TASTE!!!

Huien still don't admit she is pretty, too humble liao. Furthermore she keep saying she is ugly. No, she is so pretty.

We were divided into two main groups. Banana is the girl's group and Armpit hair is the boy's. Disgusting group name.

Anyway, Danny started talking to us about some stories. He said that there were two types of people in the world.

The first type were like sheeps, no ambitions, no directions, and only knows how to follow others. You know how they killed sheeps?

It was super easy. All you have to do it too shout out BAAAAA, and one by one, the sheep will follow it and walked towards the direction of the killing machines. That is how stupid they were.

The next type of people are like eagles. Do you notice that eagle never travel or fly in flocks? They fly indivdually. this is because, they have ambitions, goals, high self-esteem. They just swooped down and grab their own food and feed to their eaglets.

And you know how the baby eaglets learn to fly? They don't have a tuition teacher to say: Today, we are all going to fly! And now, flap your wings!

No they don't. Instead, they jumped down the cliff where they lived on and tumbled down it. When they reached the bottom, they swooped! And fly up.

This shows that there is always failure before you finally succeeded. It was very meaningful to me.

He also told us that Choices have Consequences. When you choose something, there will be consequence.

It i so true.

You know those Ah Bengs, you may think they are very brave but actually they have very low self-esteem. Whenever they see the police, they will run away. You can't insult them but they can do so to you. I really pity those people.

There is some rules too, and banned words:

  1. I don't know
  2. I am thinking

We are also not supposed to look at the trainer and smile. the funniest part is when we were like talking about what we are not supposed to call Danny.

Some are, Daddy, Nyny, Dandan, Nanny and a few more which I could not remember.

It was so funny.

Later on, in the afternoon, we split up into groups and AHLAMAT!!! I was in the same group as Guoyi, KengSoon and Guan Xun.

Our group name is JUMPER because Guoyi was like jumping all the way to tell Danny the group name. At first we wanted Perfect 11

We design a flag and HeChen was so fussy about everything. Later we did the cheer, which was just same as the original one someone else created and change it a bit. Finally, we finished and went down for lunch.

After lunch, another trainer AhMin came in. He told us that Danny don't allow us to look at him and smile is because of an incident.

He was dining in and hawker centre when he saw a pretty lady. He look at him and smile and was return with a smile too.

Later, he went forward and asked for her number. He discovered that 'she' was actually a gay!!!

OMG, we were laughing like mad. Then after teaching us some things, another trainer, Freddy, came. He wasn't actually that funny. The only funny story he told was that when he was still a student, a relief teacher called him FARTTY. And than annother called him FATTY.

And then there was this story about one of his friends who likes to fart in the worst place, the lift!

After he farted and came out, he looked at him and asked who farted. So he never dare to go into the same lift with him until one day, when his friend when up and the lift came down. Freddy was just about to step in when this smell came out of the lift.

Lor, it was sooooooooooo FUNNY!!!!!

Then, was all the things about out brain. I wasn't paying attention but then Freddy call me out! Thank goodness I know all the facts... And won my group points!

I went home and 6.30p.m. with my grandmother.

(To Bestie, I will post about DAY2 later because I wanted to watch TV now.)

DAY 2

As usual, I went to school. You know what, I was just about to sit down when Guan Xun rushed in and wanted to sit in the second row.

I ignored him and just sitted there and in the end, he was forced to sit in the first row. YAY! I WON!

I think I was sitting down there for quite a while when we were send up to the classroom because it was going to rain and instead of going back to the classrooms like all other classes, we have to go to the hall to take class photo.

Yes, my class for quite slow in the photos which were supposed to be put into the Gallery of Scholars thing.

Because I was tall, I sat in the first row. And Mrs Chan was telling me to put my legs straight like a girl... =.="'

Okay, straight to the point. We went for the Adam Khoo programme and it was Freddy again. OMG... His lesson were like, um... so boring. All he did was ask us to do this and that and draw mind maps and all those.

Other than that was some competition between the two groups.

I nearly fall asleep if not for the Science Revision I bought. later Amin came. I don't quite remember what happen but I think we were supposed to memorised some words and all those. With numbers too.

I split the twenty words up between me, YuXin and Meng Xue. Later on we learn about like drawing pictures to link two words up.

After that, Danny came and we learn the art of Clapping.

You know who learn faster, the adult or kids. Kids of course. When they were send to nursery or kindergardens, their teacher said one day: Today, we are all going to learn about this thing called the Bana-na.

The kids will all go YAY!!! and cheer and clap and then all the information will go into the long term memory.

Then Primary and Secondary school, they might still cheer like kds. But how about JC pupils? The principal said: Lets Congratulates our schoolmate for coming in first for national competition. They will just clap once or twice and that is all.

Now came the adults, if one day, the PM says that there will be no GST or so whatever, they will only look at each other and say 'Good good...'

So, if there isn't clapping and cheering, how could one be excited?

Anyway, we also so a photo of this very pretty girl who got burn alive but survived. Her face was like, disfigured, greatly...

Danny later told us about our parents, and most of us cried. Including me and Yu Xin. It makes me realised how bad I am to my parents. I felt so guilty.

Some boys, like the chicken nest durian head guy, Siao Nan, was like making fun of us. I really feel like kicking him hard and make him can't give birth.

Later, as usual, I went home. I learnt of lot of thing on that day. However, there are some things like we were supposed to say 'I LOVE YOU' to out parents. So mushy. I mean, I feel so weird.

OH SHIT, I forgot something important...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEGAN!!!!

(Bestie, Day 3 in later, must do homework first.)

DAY 3

It was the last day of Adam Khoo programme. So sad...

You know what, I don't know the reason why the school must have this irritating fire drill exercise today. It waste money and time. Further more I had to go down for two time for the fire drill.

Anyway, skip that. Freddy was asking us to do mind maps but I can't be bothered with it. I was watching Huien Bestie wrestling with a few other boys.

As expected, she lost.

Later on, Danny came in and we were force to do 248 up downs as a punishment for being too noisy.

A few boys went up to direct us and man, they were so stupid. There were about 113 pupils in the programme and everyone only has to do 2 to 3 up downs and the 248 is finish. But they don't seem to understand it.

Later, girls came, Lixin and some others directed us and we finish them in a short while. Rizal had to jump nearly a hundred time as he was not doing the up downs but touching and playing with the projector.

After the punishments, we watch this video called the Miracle Man.

It was about this man who had a plane accident and survived it but his diaphragm was damaged and he need a machine to breathe.

However, he persist and suceed in breathing without the help of the machine. He also learnt to talk because before that, there was something wrong with his vocal.... something and he can't make any sounds.

In addition, he can't swallowed and once while trying to swallow some soup, he was nearly choke to death. But in the end, he learnt to do so.

He even walked out of the hospital on his own feet on his own without any one's help. It was so touching.

We then listen to this nice song called "If We Hold On Together" before going for dinner. As usual, Yun Xi was complaining about how yucky the food taste.

After dinner, we went up to the hall for the closing ceremony. It was like, um, lots of people were crying. We could go up to stage and say things like I LOVE YOU to our parents and lots of people were moved and cried.

Huien too... She didn't know that her dad was there and went up to the stage. She cried a lot. Later, when I told her bout that, she felt very awkward.

****

I benifit a lot from this programme. If I have the chance to go again, I would surely go. And those in average classes, YOU MUST GO TOOO!!!

Coming March Holiday

Hi there my blog readers!

The past three days I was attending the Adam Khoo session and thus I have no time to post anything about CAs or the programme itself.

So now here it is, the March Holiday Post Sneek PEAK! I will definitely write about my CA results, the Adam Khoo programme (extreme long), Lollipop and Candy stories, a super boring post on holiday homework and of course my usual Holiday life posts everyday.

Anyway, I have got finish almost half of all the homework and I wanted to finish all of them by this weekend. Except for the newspaper cutting, one everyday, which is 9 cuttings together. The MAGICAL NINE...

Anyway, I am doing my e-learning now. I have to do English, Math, Chinese and Science assignments. Luckily I had finish the Chinese ones.

I also finish one composition. Mind you, I have two to write. One about drugs and another on missing wallet. The one about drugs is a essay writing composition, if I am not wrong. But I don't know the details.

Here is the Composition anyway:

Draft 1

I look at the big shelf display of sport shoes, commenting on how nice they were. I was shopping with my best friend, Jenny, at the Jurong Point Shopping Mall. Suddenly, my eyes caught sight of a particular white sport shoes with sky blue stripes and the events of an embarrassing incident that happened two years ago came flooding into my mind.

“ Hey Mum! My sport shoes had spoilt during the Sports Day last week,” I told my mother, looking sadly at my favourite pair of white and blue sport shoes. “Could I buy a new pair? Pretty please?” I looked up at my mother with the expression of a pitiful kitten, expecting a ‘Yes’ from her.

“All right, you can,” she agreed after a short while of hesitation. Laughing at my cute expression, she handed me a fifty-dollar note which I put into my wallet.

A wave of cold air brush onto my hot and flustered face as I joined the hustle and bustle of the gargantuan shopping mall later on. It was cooling and refreshing compared to the sultry air outside. I skipped towards the nearest footwear in high spirits and started browsing for a pair of sport shoes that would replace the one that had spoilt enthusiastically.

However, I had visited almost three footwear store but none of the sport shoes there suit my taste. Just as I was going to give up the search, I spotted a nicely decorated shop nearby.

I elbowed my way through the throngs of avid shoppers and arrived at the entrance of the shop. I feasted my eyes on the mammoth billboard with a pair of sport shoes that looked exactly like my favourite one. I squealed in delight as my gaze fell on the words printed on billboard. ‘Specially Designed Sport Shoes by Famous Designers at twenty dollars. While Stocks Last!’ it read in big bold letters.

I darted through all the plain shoes shelves and sprinted towards an eye-catching shelf with all the specially designed shoes. I pored over all the beautiful shoes. I could resist no longer. My chubby hands grabbed the white and blue shoes which I had yearned for.

I approached a friendly looking assistant who help me find the shoes of right size for me and with the shoe box in my hand, I dashed towards the long queue of customers. I tapped my foot impatiently as images of me flaunting off my sport shoes in school flashed in my mind.

It was finally my turn and I placed the shoebox on the counter as I searched my pocket for the wallet.

I could not find it.

A chill ran down my spine and my heart skipped a beat. I rummaged my pocket frantically but all I could find was my house keys. I tried my best to swallow the panic that was dancing up and down my throat.

“Can you be quick? The other customers are waiting.” the cashier looked at me without batting an eyelid.

“I… I am… so… sorry, in… a minute…” I murmured so softly that I thought I was the only who could hear my apology.

I could hear angry muttering and frustrated sighs from customers queuing behind me. The cashier tapped her foot impatiently in a way that make me felt so guilty for delaying the other customers. My face was so red that I wished I could dig a hole and hide in there until I found my wallet.

“HEY, JILL!!!” a familiar voice hollered from outside the shop. I turned and saw my brother, Jack, waving my wallet while running as fast as his legs could carry him towards me. “Jill… your… your wallet, you… left… it at… home…” huffing and puffing, he passed me my wallet, trying to catch his breath.

I gave a sigh of immense relief as I gave the unpleasant cashier the fifty-dollar bill and took the thirty dollars change. I thanked my brother profusely as I strolled home with him, carrying the bag of sport shoes I had just bought. What an embarrassment!

“A penny for your thought.” Jenny suddenly nudged me, waking me out of my deep thought.

“Nothing.” I said as we walked over McDonald’s for lunch before continuing our shopping spree.

Well, it was just okay, to me. But there is still lots of area for improvement, what you think? I also finish my Young IT Whiz card. Super Easy.

Anyway, I help Dorothy design her cbox for two of her blog. Go and see and if you think it is super nice, I can design for you too!

*************

I went for Chinese Orchestra Combine practice today and hell we have to practise in the hall! Mr Teo was mad today. At first he wanted me to sit behind the Cello. I did. I moved with Fiona behind. Okay.

5 mins later, he said: HEY I ASK YOU SIT BESIDE CELLO NOT BEHIND!!! YOU GOT EAR PROBLEM IS IT!!!!!?????

Lol. It is not I had got ear problem. He got memory problem. Mr Teo was scolding everyone. Some even have to stand holding their instrument for a long time as punishment.

I escaped the punishment because I WAS SITTING THERE FOR TWO HOURS WHEN IT WAS MY TURN!!!

Fiona was quite grumpy today.

I memorise the Rubik's Cube Formula! Woohoo!!!

Just in case you are wondering why there was only three post on the blog, it is not because I deleted them, I am not crazy. It is because the whole blog file was so large so I decided to reduce it to 3 posts.

Here is a cute website! http://theglobalbible.com/temp/screenclean.swf. Is your computer clean? Go here then!
