Anyway... Since I finished so many homework liao...then can play.

And then Monday had to go back school for IPW.
Holiday so so boring...

IPW (Integrated Project Work)

Dunno is I spell Integrated correctly...
Well... My stupid IPW get me into serious trouble with my mother.
I had to borrow Digital Camera from her and ask her if I could stay bad for 3 days till very late.
And she agreed to all without any complaint! (Let's forget 'bout what I say in line 2)
My shedule for IPW:

Friday till 3.30pm
Monday till 4.00pm
Tuesday till 5.00pm

The Presentation & Advertisement for IPW is finally finished on the last day, Tuesday.
I can't show you the presentation (still don't know how to put it on blog).
But let me show you the script so you can get an idea on what is it about:

Everybody: Good morning customers! We are from the Company Robot Builders. Today, we are going to tell you about our robot. The members are JESSICA, YIYUAN, YUN XI, YU XIN and XING YUE.
Jessica: This is our logo and the tagline is – Change for the better. Now, look at our advertisement.
Yiyuan: This is what we are going to talk about today: Purpose of robot, Cost, Advantages, Factors of robot, Where do we sell it? Selling our robot, Functions of the robot, How to make it carry out its function? Company profile, Our company, Our products, Problems we face, Solutions to our problems, Marketing survey, Conclusion
Yun Xi: These are the purpose of our robot - We built this robot for those working parents who have children, who return from school early. We also built this robot for those who are unable to take care of your children and they are suffering from boredom.
Xing Yue: We will sell our robot at a reasonable price. Each robot cost $20 each. While stocks last! It is not expensive at all. If you are not happy with our price, come to our company; call us at 65698452 or to our website: www.robotsale.com
Yu Xin: Our robot relies on solar dry cells which depend on solar energy from the sun. The energy stored in the solar dry cell in the day can last for a very long time. It also has a touch and sound sensors that will operate at the touch of your hand and presence. It does not cause pollution and it is safe for all walks of life.
Jessica: The robot is easy to use. You need not worry for your children. A few simple steps can operate the robot. It has several functions that will entertain you at home well at home. It is portable and is not too huge. It has nice colours that will attract your attention.
Yiyuan: So, where are we going to sell it? For those who go to shopping centres, we will have it available at shopping centres. Those who do online shopping, please visit this website if you want to purchase it, www.robotsale.com. We will also have it sold at departmental stores.
Yun Xi: Here are ways on how to make the robot function: To make it dance or sing, touch its antenna. Connect the antenna to the computer and you can download all the favourite hits. To make it to do your homework, shout loudly, do my homework now, and place it on your homework.
Xing Yue: These are the Personnel and positions held: The CEO is Jessica, the Director is me, the Editor is Yun Xi, the Robot builder is Yu Xin and the Noise Controller is Yi Yuan
Yu Xin: Our Company uses advanced technology, it is set up for 15 years, we are the market leader, and we are praised by world around and are well known. We also produce perfect products.
Our product also High end technology, it is specialised in robots, uses Advanced sensors, is Up to customers’ satisfactory. It is also proved safe for children and colours do not wear easily.
Jessica: This is the marketing survey and the response out of the 8 people we ask.
Yiyuan: We can conclude that most people go to the shopping centre to buy their goods. 70% of the people buy items that are expensive yet have good quality. 60% of people are attracted to television advertisements. 50% of people are attracted to items that are colourful and look nice. 60% of the people find telephones useful to them.
Yun Xi: Do not worry folks! As we mention earlier, we will be selling at shopping centres, departmental stores and on our website. Our robot is expensive but have good quality and last for a long time. We will also have promotions. So watch out! We will post advertisements on television’ intervals, newspaper and posters, just in case some people are attracted to them. Our products are colourful and nice to see at and can lose for a long time as mentioned earlier.
Xing Yue: Our robot includes telephone ability. We have also MP3 software on our website. You can download it into your robot for all MP3 fans.
Jessica: Here are the problems we face; we have trouble finding a video camera. We had trouble finding time to gather together. Members are very shy to act. Here are the solutions to our problems; Borrowed a digital camera from Xing Yue. We did separate work and pool together our research. At the last minute, two members agreed to act.
Yun Xi: Here are the resources.

Notice that mine and Yu Xin's one are very short while the others are very long.

What happen TODAY

Didn't post for a very long time...

Hey! Let me tell you what happen today.

I was walking to the hall with Hui En and then I go into the hall for silent reading.

Then Fatso and BMX came along and we start chit-chatting.

I ask her "Will Mdm Chng be here today?"

"I don't know but i didn't see her this morning."

Then after singing National Anthem and School Song and reciting the pledge we go into the classroom.

PHEW! MDM CHNG DIDN'T COME!

So, a relieve teacher took over her and for the first three periods, she keep telling us jokes and riddles.

Then we play around.

Melissa and Lixin are passing TEACHER'S DAY cards for us to sign.

After recess, Melissa and me and some others keep playing around and we were laughing like hell.

Then Jarrett says, " Now I know why Melissa and Yu Xin always argue. Yuxin is a FISH and Melissa is a KITTY!"

HAHA!!! WE ALL HAD A GOOD LAUGH!

And I thought of this Zoo Story...

Anyway, chinese teacher, 符老师, came in during chinese periods and gave us 单元考查.

Then Mr Seet, art teacher, brought us to COMPUTER LAB!

YAY!

I play at Com Lab for quite a long while.

Then I went down to eat my lunch.

I bought a plate of chicken rice for $0.70.

After that, I borrow videocam from Hui En and did the filming.

AH LA MAH!

Yiyuan ($1) was expressionless leh!

I LOOK SO STUPID!

Nvm... calm down...

But during the whole time at the Com Lab, I did open my mailbox and show some emails to other people.

Two of them are two DISGUSTING photos, one with an EXTROADINARY FAT lady and another is a Monkey Tattoo on a BOY'S BUTT!!!

Everyone (Hui En, Yu Xin, Fiona, Chery & Waikin) who saw it were DISGUST by it.

By the way, after the filming, I went to this site and play the games there.

IT WAS SO FUN!

But after a while, I got bored and started sending some stupid emails to Fatso.

Then, I went home and open my computer and wrote this post.

National Day Concert

Went to school at 6.45am today for NATIONAL DAY CONCERT!

So FUN!!!

At first, when I reach there, I sit at the parade ground behind the P2 reading my storybook.

Then, at about 7:30am like that, the flag-racing ceremony starts.

The prefects doing the ceremony are all boys and they walked so so so slow.

After that we stand up and sing the National Athem and School Song.

Then we say the pledge and settle down.

After that, we sing the National Day Song.

(I am force to wear my stupid bandana and wave my stupid nationa flag!)

After that, we went up to the hall to watch the National Day Concert.

There is this Rulang STAR Contest during the concert.

I think only Rachel's brother, Ryan Quek, and another boy I think call Jiarui or what their songs very nice.

The others are so lame like shit like that.

The first prize for the contest goes to... RYAN QUEK (of course)!

Then we get this present which is six colourful bookmark and ruler.

And I gotten two bottles of water and that's all!

Singapore Maths Olympiad

Hello... HEY! Do you know that I entered NMOS (National Maths Olympiad of Singapore). For more information on NMOS, click here.

Okay, now, let me tell you the story on how I gotten in this NMOS. This happen even before I went for my China Immursion Tour.

It was just after the last SA1 Paper on... maybe SCIENCE? In fact, it was just right after the examination and Mdm Chng came in. As we sit according to register number at that time, Huien, who was register no.35, who sitting in front of me and behind Cheryl, no.36. The stupid idiot, Waikin was sitting beside Huien. We were all joking about certain things when Mdm Chng suddenly gave out sheets of paper with Maths Problems on it stapled together. All of us were like:

WTF! I THOUGHT EXAMS WERE OVER?!!!

And I guess Mdm Chng guess what was in our mind. She told us that was um... past year Maths Olympiad questions and went on explaining what it is.

"Jia Wei, the maths genius will surely entered this..." I thought and began doing my work, I don't even think, at the time, that I would even stand a chance.

Then Huien turn back to me and say, "This questions so difficult."

I stole a glance at her paper and then look at my own messy workings and said, "So easy still say difficult!" and she just turn back and continued her paper.

Then she started disturbing me but then, I ignored her so she stopped doing that. After doing about 10 of those 'easy' problems (there were 28 problems in all), I started asking around how many the others have completed. Then I resumed my work.

At 1pm, after Mdm Chng collected the papers, including mine with 8 unfinished questions, we all rushed down for lunch break, which was delayed by exactly 1 hour. Huien told me Waikin showed her all the answers. I started making fun of her with the BGR thing.

And I forgot completely about this MATH OLYMPIAD.

Until one fine day, Mdm Chng was teaching us Maths and I wasn't even concentrating on it. I just heard someone calling my name and saw Meng Xue, Chong Xin, Waikin, Yun Mei Yilun going out so I followed. and the teacher, Mr Ho, just told us some rubbish and went off.

Then, one week later, Mdm Chng called our names again and told us that we are selected for Math Olympiad PRELIMINARY ROUND and then weeks later we sat for the round in school.

Then after the China Trip, one day in school MC was teaching PSP and ask us to try out some problems and then suddenly called me to come in front.

I WAS SO SHOCK I ACTUALLY THOUGHT I DID SOMETHING WRONG!

Then Mr Ho came looking for me and told me that I am only one in School selected for NMOS and all that rubbish like try your best all those.

I WAS SO SURPRISED! Never did I dream that one stupid sheet of papers can get me into NMOS!

Anyway, after two weeks I went to sit for the Special Round.

That was the whole story. I still waiting IMPATIENTLY for the results of the paper I took on 4^th August 2007.
