so what if school reopens

the only retarded things that happens to me are:

  1. Slept in class for 10 minutes (teacher havn't come in yet)
  2. Got confused about the math homework assigned
  3. Draw peanuts and learn about the structure of a peanut
  4. Got confused over whether we are supposed to draw oranges for homework because I didn't pay attention in class
  5. Nearly trip over Grace during dance lessons
  6. Learn the full version of Jive which is damn retarded
  7. Learn modern jazz but forgot the steps soon after
  8. Bump into Zhixin and Joanne
  9. Kept using hand sanitiser and disfection wash liquid because I am scared of getting H1N1
  10. Complain
  11. Yawn thousands of times during Math
  12. Forgot what homework we are given for the day
  13. Got lousy results
  14. Ate mint chocolate candies
  15. What else?

Zhixin forgot to bring her homework file. I played with her markers and coloured pens. Tomorrow is worst man. lessons for the whole day. At least today for aesthetics.

HAWCHONG BOYS ARE DAMN LUCKY LA. THEY ACTUALLY HAVE HOME LEARNING AND NEED NOT ATTEND SCHOOL FOR ONE WEEK.

WHAT KIND OF WORLD IS THIS. I WANT HOLIDAYS!!!!!!

I think they going to give out report cards next week. So what. My school life is so warped.

Computer time's up.

Things to do: find out homework there is for math and chiong last minute in front of the math teacher.

dead tired

Went around Boon Lay asking people to donate money. We walk around for 8 hours, with a two hours break in between (went home for lunch during that period!).

We spent most of the time at the overhead bridge 'begging' people to donate money. One thing is that some parents only donate money because their little kids likes throwing in coins and getting stickers. -.-

Some people are soooo rude they just go past you as if you are invisible. Most people bother to say they have no money and apologise. I manage to finish giving out 2 and half pages of stickers. Those people at the library are so generous. Most give notes! Ci Wei got a $10 note.

I got gastric pain at the end of the first shift and bought some things to eat. (apple pie and icecream from Macs, slurpie from 7-11) The second shift I got heatstroke because I was feeling slightly dizzy and got tummy ache. Partly because we were walking from jurong east to chinese garden (my ridiculous idea) under the scorching hot sun at 3pm in the afternoon. Also because I didn't drink enough water and was standing there for 8 hours plus.

I managed to get the most money among the three of us (fishy, ciwei me). Fishy tried folding her donation bag to form a 'white leather Gucci purse made from cow hide'. Failed attempts to take photos on the way back to the collection point at Jurong East.

Gosh. School reopening tomorrow. SHITSHITSHIT.

救命啊!

ARGH. 2 more days

Sobsob. two more days to school reopen. I really really wish they extend the holidays leh. Since i just realised that I forgot to copy down two homework, and lost one of the worksheet. Meaning I left with one chinese compo to write, and one math assignment and one revision worksheet. I am too lazy to do them now.

I think only can go school last minute chiong le.

Tomorrow I going sell flags at Jurong East MRT Station for 8 hours to raise fund for something. Two hours lunch break in between. hohoho. I going back to eat lunch, since i take bus for 15 minutes can le.

Then chiong back there just in time for the second shift.

People come and buy flags. Maybe if i finish selling everything by the first shift then no need go for the second one le.

Sunday I'm going Science Centre for the Da Vinci exhibition. Going with my mum's friend's two noisy sons. I am going to be tortured there. Her friend has the science centre card so five people can go, but since only four are going so far (me, sister, the two noisy boys), mum allow me to bring one friend along. The trip is not confirmed yet but we are most probably going.

So, here's an open invitation to all my good friends (good friends ONLY. And must live near me or science centre one): Who wanna go with me to science centre. Anyone who is interested in Da Vinci exhibition or just want to kill time can join me. First-come-first-serve (with a bit of um, un fairness 'cause i see who closer to me) basis since only got one slot. Time is Sunday morning or afternoon, at Science Centre exhibition hall, er, and three noisy kids will be going too (the two boys and my sister).

I AM BEGGING SOMEONE TO JOIN ME. Because i don't want to be surrounded by noisy kids.

Heard that michael jackson is dead. I think someone told me he is half black half white and half male half female. But i don't know who he is.

Things to do:
Find a way to finish homework,
Sell flags tomorrow,
Get someone to join me for the science centre trip,
Bully sister
Wish for extended holidays

Sick people

Was reading one of those psychology books i borrowed. Here's a paragraph from the book [Psychology's Grand Theorists: how personal experiences shaped professional ideas by Amy Demorest] :

In his book Stranger on the Earth, Albert Lubin (1972) devotes a chapter to uncovering the origins of a single but dramatic event in Van Gogh's life. Late in the evening on December 23, 1888 when he was 35 years old, Van Gogh cut off the lower half of his left ear and took it to a brothel where he asked for a prostitute named Rachel, and handed her the earlobe with the words "keep this object carefully". After introducing this extroadinary event to the reader, Lubin considers the possible origins for the act in the earlier events that show a match with this one...
1. In the months preceding this episode, Jack the Ripper had mutilated a series of prostitutes in London's East End. Among the various organs he removed from his victim, the ear was occasionally his choice. his crimes gave rise to various emulators at the time and Van Gogh was one such emulator. But Van Gogh was a masochist rather than a sadist, and so he reversed the act by mutilating his own ear and giving it to a prostitute.
[skip the irrelevant parts]
4. During the day of December 23, Van Gogh had had a fight with fellow painter Paul Gaugin and had attempted to assault him with a razor. When Gaugin overpowered him, Van Gogh later turned the razor against himself. His conflict with Gaugin was based on his childhood oedipal hostility towards his father, with whom he competed for his mother, in part because Gaugin was much superior with the local prostitutes, Van Gogh was symbolically trying to possess his mother sexually, for in his native Dutch the word for earlobe (lel) resembles a slang word for [male sensitive part] (lul).

* Note that some irrelevant details are removed and replaced by small font square brackets. Also, censored words are replaced by another phrase with similar meaning in square brackets.

Firstly, I don't find a painter cutting off his ear and giving to a prostitute a 'dramatic' event. Second thing, I got no idea who Jack the Ripper is though I heard of it in Mr Midnight. Last point, I think Van Gogh is sick. Like SICK in the mind. No offence to those fans of his.

I am poor in vocab, but masochist is someone who derived pleasure from one's own pain or humilation. Like, which sicko would hurt himself just to be happy? I can't stand self-mutilation. it's scary. Which is why even if I am super depressed and feels that life isn't worth living anymore, I will NOT commit suicide, example, jumping off a 2 storey building (not that you will die from it but the thought is scary enough) or stabbed myself with the kitchen knife.

And oedipal is derived from Oedipus complex, which means 'the emotions aroused in a young child by an unconscious sexual desire for the parent of the opposite sex'. (from the Oxford paperback Dictionary Thesaurus and Wordpower Guide)

This is grossing me out because I don't get how someone can erm, have desires for someone who gave birth to you.

Painters are weird people bah, since Leonardo da Vinci was rumored to be a homosexual and now Van Gogh (another famous painter) is like erm, ok, you read the above la.

Ok, back to the Jack the Ripper thing. I went wikipedia search. thats another sick person.

Disgusting.

someone talk to me!!!

I FEEEELLL BORED!

Anyone talk to me on msn, or call me??? My phone run out of money so i cannot sms le. :'(

One more week

don't know whether i should be happy or sad. holidays is going to be over in one week's time. I finish all my homework and... and and and... WAIT. I FORGOT TO COPY DOWN THE SIX POEMS. But actually other than this I have finish everything to do for the weekend, other than jap homework and my own brush-up-on-language work. And Chinese filing. Did i miss out anything? Oh. Not to forget I havn't finish tidying up my room. If holiday is 2 months long, I can finish all those and still have time to chat on msn with old friends, meet up for movies, go library and buried myself in books, test out some of my crazy ideas.

Hey, maybe they will stop school due to swine flu. stop school for one month! And and and they would let us do online learning, then i would be able to use the computer and stay at home and miss everything I want to. Which includes staying back for... I shall not say it or certain people are going to murder me and force me to take down this post. But third language would also be cancel which means I won't see christalle. At least can meet up! :D

My imagination is going way too wild.

Oh, bridget's house. I leave the house at 9.30 and waited for the bus for 15 minutes. Reach the MRT station near her house at approximately 10.20. Since there is two condos on both side of the road, i got confused. First time there mah. Spend 35 minutes searching for bridget and zhixin (in case they are waiting for us near the station). I sms and call her for a few times but she didn't pick up the phone 'cause the two of them are watching commercials. Zhixin got my number mixed up with Alicia's. She sms and call her instead of me.

We watch Tom&Jerry and Home Alone 4 there. Home Alone was hilarious but painful for the actors who acted as the two dumb burglars. Play cards too.

Bridget's sister (i think) made sushi for lunch. Sushis are damn nice. I think i ate a lot. We were given the korean type of flat chopstick. Joanne, Zhixin and Nanshan decides to use spoon and fork instead. I use the flat chopstick. Very easy to use once you get use to the feeling.

Bridget cut her hair short and Zhixin think it looks like a birdnest. Zhixin's ponytail looks like rotten banana (just kidding!). I forgot who was telling bridget that me and her looks the same from behind, with her new hairstyle.

Sheesh. During the library trip with cheese and anne-anne, in my attempt to say HDB flat/block, I end up saying:'blat' or was it 'flock' ?

I want holiday to last longer! I reallt don't feel like going to school and see my classmates. The canteen food sucks anyway. (no offence to the ingredients. It wasn't your fault. It's the cook) Somemore food so expensive.

Yawn...

Just woke up 28 minutes ago. Got nothing to write about(actually there is one but I don't want to write now so deciding to do something else). Answering a few questions for this post:

From Vanessa's blog. Damn hilarious!

Instructions: Go to www.urbandictionary.com and type in your answer to each question in the search box, then write the FIRST definition it gives you. I guarantee you're gonna find some pretty hilarious results. [yeahyeah. it is damn funny! :D]

1)Your Name: Cannot find on the website :'(

2)AGE: 13...
A number commonly known for superstitious beliefs about it being unlucky. Originally it was a holy number, but somewhere along the way it was hijacked and portrayed as unlucky. Fear of this number is called triskaidekaphobia. (the one vanessa got!)
Thirteen stands for M, the thirteenth letter of the alphabet. M is for Mexican Mafia. Any real Mexican gang that lives in S. California starding from Bakersfield and down all the way to San Diego should be affiliated with 13. (the one i found!)
Mexican Gangster: Hey homie you bang!
Some fake gangster: No I dont please dont kill me!

3)One of your friends: FIONA (sheesh. other names cannot find :'[ )
a common girls name, it is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "fair, pale, white, beautiful". It's Latin origin means "wine"
"we are going to name our baby fiona"
"fiona! behave yourself!"

a sweet, but mentally unstable girl
hey look its fiona!
u mean that sweet but mentally unstable girl iv heard about?
exactly!

4)What you should be doing: Sleeping?
[skip first definition. too gross]
a mystical kind of magic which sends u to an alternate plane of existence in which the magical gremlins give u pro plus
i was sleeping when i heard a large crash

5)Favourite color: Blue
The hue of the portion of the visible spectrum lying between green and indigo, evoked in a human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 420 to 490 nanometers.

6)Favourite Number: 6
[warning: long definition]
6 (uppercase: ^) is a real-live Arabic cardinal numerical integer, the successor to 5 and predecessor to the suspicious 7. It is a real subset of the set of all elements that come between the number infinitely far away from 5.00 and the number infinitely far away from 7.00 in opposite directions, and vice versa. Ordinally, it comes after the fifth number in the sequence of the numbers, and is before the seventh of the same.

In mathematics, the number constitutes a number of the base 10 regiment, or a decimal number, and may be more accurately denoted by the symbols 6.00. 6 is an even number, as opposed to an odd number, and can be created as the product of a 2 and a 3. Due to the phenomenon of reverse truncation, 2+2 approximately equals 6 for very large values of 2.

In finance, 6 is a small amount of currency, and may buy you a small paperback mathematical dictionary in some nations, whilst in others it will barely pay for a financial newspaper. The concept of having less money would be constituted in this situation by having 5.99 of your currency, and the concept of having more money would be constituted by having 6.01.

In literature, 6 is a page on which words are written. As an example, if you were reading the fifth page of the book (page five, that is), then the next page would be called page six (or the sixth page), and vice versa.

In cookery, 6 is a measure of how much of a particular ingredient you include in a dish, and its precise value is determined by the units that are used to suffix the said 6.

In computing, 6 is a key on a keyboard, usually denoted by the '6' symbol, and appearing in all twice on a standard keyboard, once in a horizontal fashion above the letters of the alphabet, in juxtaposition with the numbers 5 and 7; and once on the so-called 'number pad' on the far right of the unit, where it features on the right-hand side, to the right of the button marked '5', below the button marked '9', above that marked '3', and with borders to '8' and '2' also. The former occurrence of 6 wears a hat on standard US keyboards.

In time, 6 o'clock is the time that is one second after 5:59:59, and one second before 6:00:01. This time may be in the morning, or it may be in the evening, but at both times you are likely to find human beings awake.

In describing human directed animal attacks, a homonym of 6 is used as in: "Joe sics his dog on the hapless home invader.".

In medical terminology, 6 is used to describe relative malady as in: "I'm sick's a dog.".

In the calendar, 6 is the day that comes after the 5th day of each month, and comes before the 7th of the same month.

In German the number 6 is spoken like "sex" and therefore a never ending source of stupid jokes.

In base 6, the number 6 is written "10."

On the other hand, in base 5 the number 6 is written "11." This is rather odd since 6 is not an odd number, while 11 is.

A common urban legend tells that 6 is afraid of 7 because "7 8 9". Recent forensic discoveries indicate that 9 probably died of natural causes, and 6's fear of 7 may have stemmed from other causes, such as domestic violence.

7)Month of Your Birthday: April
the month were the sexiest bitches are born
april is the month were the most beautiful, sexy girls are born [what the hell??!?]

8)Last Person You talked To: Mum
A word americans don't know how to spell

9)One Of Your Nickname: CANNOT FIND! :D

Have to off computer le... [Read the words in italics!]

Library Trip

Went to Jurong East Regional Library with Zhixin and Joanne yesterday. We were supposed to meet there at 10am but since Jonanne and Zhixin were unfamiliar with the place they took a longer time to reach there. Grace didn't come with us because her mother don't allow her and also 'cause she was too lazy to come out of the house. In fact, she was still sleeping when i call her.

We finally found a few books to get the poems from. I guess to grab too many books to read through since Joanne looks shock and kept saying: 'I don't know you... Xingyue, I don't know you hor.'

Because most of the tables and chairs were occupied, we went to the silent reading corner. The chair/table (I used it as a table but Zhixin and Joanne sat on it) keep making sceeching sounds. Joanne tries hard to control her laughter and her face looks... contorted. Zhixin found this poem called 'Talking Turkey' (i forgot the book title ooops). One of the line is: do not eat ur turkey dis chrismas. The words are all in short forms.

After we found the poetry book we wanted and decided on the topic, (Mine was identity as a certain age group, in this case, children) I drag the two of them along to the phsychology sections. Joanne kept saying: 'I don't know you, i don't know you....' while I took out a few books. Zhixin looks...

This are the books I borrowed:
#1 Collins 30 Minute Watercolours (Fiona Peart) - I like the pictures!
#2 101 poems to get you through the day and night (Daisy Goodwin)
#3 101 poems against WAR (Matthew Hollis and Paul Keegan)
#4 101 poems about Childhood (Michael Donaghy) - Why every single poetry book starts with '101 poems' ?
#5 The Hidden Gifts of the Introverted Child (Marti Olsen Laney) - Since I am an introvert...
#6 Psychology: A concise introduction, Second Edition (Richard A. Griggs)
#7 Psychology's Grand Theories (Amy Demorest)
#8 Clashing Views in Psychological Issues:14th Edition (Brent Slife)

Borrow the phsychology books for fun! Since nothign to do and I finished my homework le. I read finish one book le. Only remember this chapter on how to make people comply to your requests. Shall try this on friends sometimes... heh heh *evil grin and knife in hand*

Went for lunch with them at IMM before I went home. Since the entertainment center is closed down for renovations(i think), the three of us have to walk to IMM and find a hawker center there. I kept dashing across the road when there is only a few seconds left, as indicated on next to the flashing green man, to cross the road, and have to wait for Zhixin and Joanne (slowpokes!) who are still on the other side.

We decided eat at Kopitiam but since it was lunch time, there are a lot of people there and it's difficult to find a table. But because I have been there quite a few times and had some experience with finding tables, I manage to find one (someone just finish eating there). I bought a bought of fishball noodles (or was it kuayteow - dont know how to spell?) but didn't finish the soup and fishballs cos it tastes weird. Zhixin bought chicken rice (ahahaha! the only one who bought rice) and didn't finish the soup. Joanne ate quite slowly so we went to buy desserts first. Zhixin had never heard of ice kachang.

I tried to walk home from IMM but the heat was oppressive and my bag is too heavy (i borrowed eight books, and my diary is also inside) so I gave up after 10 minutes of walking and took bus home.

Currrently, I am...

This is my second post in five minutes.

I am currently playing facebook, reading online comics, blogging(duh), chatting wth Cheese (not le, since she busy), getting distubed by the contruction outside my house. I think mine was one of the last HDB flats to be renovated. The four storey flat near mine is being renovated. I don't see the point of a lift that stops at every floor for a four-storey flat.

Facebook games are sooo laggy.

ANYONE TAG NOW?

Holiday is boring. But i don't want go school. I WANT SOMETHING EXCITING TO HAPPEN NOOOOWWW!!!!!!

Awww... The six poems

And rest of da holiwork (short for holiday homework).

I am slacking slacking slacking. Mum says if there is job with only requires the employee to sit in front of the TV or computer, I would get the job right away and earn millions of bucks.

WOOHOOO. Cheese rocks! Instead of going to NLB (which is so far away from my house my mum will never allow), she decides the the whole group of us (Joanne, her, me and maybe Grace) will go to the Jurong East Regional library to do the lit project, which is finding six poems with a certain literacy depth.

Jurong East is definitely nearer, though I still prefers the one near Jurong Point. 'cos after that can go jurong point popular.

My sister an brother are both down with fever. It's so tiring bringing them to the clinic. I rather have them get well soon and bother me with their nonsensical games.

I must must must must get myself to finish my homework by wednesday. Which is tomorrow. I actually wants to finish it last wednesday, but then, I lazy, so procrastinate till now.

I just got a new tv! The old one is very blurish, so mum got a new one, 32 inch i think. the old one was 29 inch or 27 inch. Don't get why people like big tv screens. I feel dizzy after looking at them for a long time. Small ones are better. I don't like the kind of super clear ones too.

I just learnt a new word! Wait, maybe I know the meaning but forgot, but nvm. Oppressive: cruel and unfair / causing anxiety; If the weather or heat is oppressive, it is too hot and there is no wind.

And i think i better start on my homework soon. OH YA! I HAVN'T POST BOUT MY GENTING TRIP. And Yanting's gathering at west coast. Later I post. After homework all done.

the past five (or six) days

I have accomplished: (sound more significant and important!)

#1 Finish almost all my homework
Other than one chinese compo on 一个伟人 and the peanuts drawings plus algebra sums, I have completed the holiday homework. Finally, the rest of the holiday to lay back and relax. And maybe sit in front of the TV or computer.

#2 Went for two more art outings
Art teacher wants us to go for five outings during the holidays. I went for three le. Just two more to go! This two times I went to botanics garden and Krangi Farm resort. Came back with four or five mosquito bites. :(

#3 Got drenched two times in three days
I become 落汤鸡 le. The first time I brought my brother to the community center for his art lessons and it started raining cats and dogs when we were almost there. I was soaked. Second time I was at Botanics drawing the scenery when it starts raining out of the sudden. My art materials got soak too and my art piece become... I don't know how to describe. But teacher say I can sell it for a lot of money since no one can produce a painting like this. (of course mah, no one so stupid draw finish and put in the rain).

#4 Got super super full, stomach nearly exploded
Mum cook super nice food: 糯米饭, Fishball soup (sis and bro don't want so all give me), chicken!, kangkong. I ate a lot and stomach nearly exploded. Later ate chendol for supper. I dreamt of food that night... Yum yum.

#5 Went for a walk round the neighbourhood
After the super nice dinner, mum brought us round the neighbourhood so that we can get to know it better, since we just moved there (actually is just three minutes walk from old house). Discovered a fitness corner where me and my sister go crazy swinging around.

#6 Carried my brother
My six-year-old brother had fever and couldn't walk. And since mum has some problem with her backbone, I have to carry him home. He is so heavy. I remember just last year he was quite light, but then now, he is almost half my weight. Grow so much...

#7 Read three storybooks
Very bored at home, so spend four hours reading storybooks. Now half way through the fourth one.

Things I have yet accomplished: (too lazy...)

#1 Increase my vocab for English and Chinese
Too boring le

#2 Memorise 成语 and the meanings
To boring le

#3 Finish rest of the homework
Too boring le

#4 Copy down chinese words
To boring le

#5 Study Japanese and remember the new words
Not that boring. Maybe when I feel like doing so.

SANA Course

I went all over to Sengkang (again!) for this course my CCA wants me to attend. It is organised by The Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA). A few boring lectures on drugs and three test. After passing the tests one will get a certificate and a badge.

The lecture um, don't remember much about it. I think is just about why some people abused drugs like peer pressure, boring lifestyle, blah.

The tests are: One written test (MCQs and True&False Questions), Roleplay, Online Practical Assignment.

For the written assignment, if you fail, you will have to re-course. The lecturer actually told us the stuffs we have to take note of and the answers to some of the questions. We just have to remember: E-All of the above. If you get full marks, you will get the following items:

One laptop bag: If got laptop can put inside the smaller bag (i think), and the larger one can be used as a sling bag.

Five dollars popular voucher! Can buy stuffs le. Together with Grace's 20 dollars voucher, I would have twenty five altogether! Finally can buy a book to read.

Binoculars. No much use but if you suspect your stead cheating on you, can use this to spy/peek on him or her.

A pen. I think is ballpoint bah. Though I don't know what is the batteries over there use for.

And I got all of those! Kinda surprising, since I did not really pay attention to the lecture(only the funny parts), didn't write down note(too lazy to take out pen plus see no point), and only briefly glance at Fishy's notes. I was just doing the assignment there, and the lecturer came, look at my paper, glance around to see if anyone was cheating, look at my paper again. After I done the whole paper, he took it away, and ask if the answers were final. Me(thinking): Even not final also don't care le. Don't bother la. Just a written assignment what, never fail can le. Don't want recourse. Me(say/reply):*nodded* erm... The person took the paper, have a look at it (i think checking answers. Pro seh, can memorise all the answers le), fold and stuffs into his jeans pocket.

I was kinda scared at that moment, because, if I had listen correctly, that person is a policeman. And even though I did not cheat or whatever, I was still worried that I may have unintentionally break a rule and wasn't aware of it.

Relief came a second later...

Man:If your paper is taken away, that means get full marks le not need check answers. Trainer! Take away the papers of whoever who got full marks.

Followed by happiness.

Fishy later ask me for the Popular voucher. Aiya, fishy, you want voucher I get one 20 dollars one for you as christmas or birthday prezzie.

Anyway, I need help for the online assignment. I will give the ID, information, webpage and other details later.

ARGH. Holiday is boring.

Math Carnival

Because of CIP hours, I decided to volunteer to help out with the game booths today at NUS High for the Math Carnival. And I missed the bus stop outside NUS High in the morning when i am going to there because I didn't bother looking to see if it is the right one.

I have never seen a bus driver who don't even know what building he drives past and the bus stops location. Since this is the first time I am taking to NUS High, I ask the driver to tell me which stop I am supposed to get down the first thing when I get on the bus.

Me: Er... H-h-how do I g-get to NUS High?
Driver: NUS ah, take this bus lor!
Me: A-a-a-s in, w-w-where do... I g-get off? Of course I know take this bus la. If not I come up and ask you for what.
Driver: At that stop la! Stupid la. Got other stops meh.
Me: I mean w-w-which s-stop is it?
Driver: NUS ah, you have to walk a long way one leh.
Me: Huh? I am going NUS High. I am having a bad feeling 'bout this
Driver: Alah! NUS la! The University right?
Me: No, as in NUS High. NUS 的附中.
Driver: NUS where got 附中
Me: Oh ok. Thanks alot. Do you have any idea what is even a 附中?

And that's only the first frustrating conversation of the day. I feel like boxing his face. And I was stuttering because I don't like talking to strangers.

When I finally got there, I was perspiring all over because I was afraid of being late and ran all the way there after getting off at the next stop. And when I got there, I say Primary four kids all over the place. Did I ever say I am afraid of kids? Saw some of my juniors too, but don't think they actually knows me since I don't even thinks the Primary six juniors regconise me.

The game booth I am helping with is called...... AHA! "Economic Crisis". Every one will be given 6 digit cards and they are supposed to form a number given to them using at least four of the cards and the operations, following the rules of BODMAS. No digits should be used twice unless there are two cards with that digit. The digits can be combine to form another number. For example, the digits 3 and 5 can be use to form 53 or 35. They will be given one minute to complete the task.

I spent 5 minutes explaining this rules to those kids. I think the total no. of explanation I make today is 15, since I have to repeat the instructions at least once before they understand.

Now lets proceed to the second frustrating conversation of the day: I have to take a group of five kids at one time and there is this really annoying boy there. At that time, the cards were all over the floor.

Me: Can you return the cards?
Boy: Ok *turn over cards*
Me: As in return the cards
Boy: Orh *turn over cards*
Me: I mean RETURN THE CARDS
Boy: How many times you want me turn over?
Me: OMG. I MEAN RETURN THE CARDS TO ME. 还给我! Which part do you not understand?
Boy: Chey, say earlier mah.

Seriously, what's wrong with that guy? Hearing problem? I was talking really loudly.

Anyway, the picture here shows a few cards, which are yellow in colour, a stack of small papers for workings and for the kids to write their answer on. Three dices, two make by my fellow classmates, stamps and a candy box.

I stole a few candies from there to eat!

I shall end off with the four different favours of polo sweet! Yum yum. But i like gummies more.

I want to sleep longer!

I woke up early in the morning to a little spat between my sister and brother. They were arguing about whether my brother should bring the umbrella or wear a raincoat to childcare as it's drizzling outside.

It's 8 in the morning! Can they learn how to keep their volume down?

Screwed up

Math olympiad is damn hard. Way much harder than past years paper.

Went to this old kampong place in Yio Chu Kang for my art outing. Down there is like super dirty, muddy, smelly and full of mosquities and flies. Add hot and suffocating to the list. How do they ever live there? I saw this pit in the sand and a tarantula (or something that's hairy and looks like a huge black spider) climbing out of the hole. Ran away as quickly as possible. (so didn't took the photo) Those people hang their clothes outside (plus undergarments)

Lets hope no cats come out of this place. No snakes or tarantulas either. Bushy places with tall grasses looks eerie.

And imagine having to walk a whole stretch of road full of such bushes. It's horrible. And the whole place is full of these! I wonder what kinds of creatures hide in there. If dogs still okay, but just no cats no snakes and no big hairy spiders (I got enough of it for the whole month).

Eh, so, here the name of that kampong I went to. I can't imagine how they manage to survive there but they are super pro people since I was just there for 4 hours and I already cannot stand it. Especially the vicious mosquitoes there. I got 4 mosquitoes bites, 2 on each legs. And in case any of you here watch Okto, from what i heard from the art teacher, this is where they shoot 'Fighting Spiders' (what kind of name is that? Spider are creepy)

According to the villagers, this is a cocoa tree where they get the cocoa for making coffees and other chocolaty drinks. (Lets hope they make Tobleron here. OOOmygod. Tobleron rawks!)

But if you ask me, this totally don't look like a cocoa tree. I thought cocoa trees was supposed to be brown and have a chocolaty look one.

And this is HOW they keep their shoes. By hanging them up on this case thing. Quite creative, but if the shoes is dripping mud on a wet day then will the muddy stuffs dripped onto the shoes below?

GROSS.

EEEEK

YUCKS

EWWWWWWWWWWWW

And they hang their cloths out like this! This includes undergarments and towels and clothes and bed sheets from those living inside the house. I prefer the HDB way of hanging cloths. Dogs wont be able to bite it.

And speaking of dogs, there are so many in the whole place that it is impossible to not hear or see them. Practically all over the whole place. Big and small ones. The worst thing is they come barking at stranger. And they are really fierce.

This is what those people call 相思树. Don't know the english word for it but is something tree. See the pods in the middle hanging from the the tree? (picture not very clear since i enlarge like 20 times.) Someone told me that in the past, when a guy or girl have a crush on someone, they pluck this from the tree and give it to the person. Something like nowadays buying roses. I thought that was a retarded way of expressing your love for someone. Since the person can just throw the pods aways.

It seems that they are going to tear down the kampong soon so that they could build new buildings over it. Sad. (which is why I took quite a lot of photos during this trip)
