My Super Short Hairscut

AND OTHER STUPID EVENTS

I cut my hair and it looks weird. But this is not I am going to talk about, at least not now. What I am going to write about is my LATEST ADDICTION and other events since Friday.

Friday...

If you know me well enough or at least reads my blog every once in a while, you would not that I had CCA on Friday and I totally hates it. (not mentioning the CCA name in case I gets crazy.)

But the SP is great. Fiona play chess with TANGLE! Out of all people. Who ask her to curse me... Retribution. Okay, sorry Fiona.

I was so happy that I had Tuition on Friday. Because of my the tuition, I got to go home early today.

Saturday...

Early in the morning was the CCA practice enough to make you lose your appetite and vomit. Fortunately I didn't eat my breakfast.

This practice almost ruined my whole happy day. And yes, it is obviously beacuse of the stupid, dumb, idiotic £$(^*%# ASSHOLE CONDUCTOR.

I feel so good, finally get to scold him like hell. So glad that he didn't know my blog. but even if he does, I bet he won't understand it beacause his english was like so HORRIBLE!

Poor Kimberly got scolded by him because of some trival matters. To me it is trival. Here is exactly what the asshole said:

比赛要到了你还是这么懒懒散散的! 还敢敢跟我忘记带弹片! you very the "horrigible" one!!! 如果拿不到金牌也是被你们这种人害的lahh!!! 去跟我站在后面把你的中阮举得高高的hor!!!! 像你这种人hor, 真的是讲不听的lehh... Go, go to the back and stand!!!!

And yes, the "horrigible" thing is what he say. His English is horrible. (sorry if you can't read chinese.)

I am addicted to homework. If I don't have any work to do, I would be bored to death.

Oaky, (It is not typo error) now it is time for my hair cut trip part.

The lady who cut my hair was super nice. But Hate it when she cut my super long fringe. THose of you should have seen me in school with the haircut by now so I won't continue the post.

Injection - Immunisation

19/3/08

Oh my god!!! MY ARM STILL HURTS LIKE HELL!!!!! I can't lift it up, no even halfway up.

YYYYYYYY

It was school as usual today. Of course. But I went for injection today, for immunisation purpose, to protect us against rubella and measles.

I was so scared today, as I heard that the injection is very painful.

Having the needle to go under your skin and into your raw flesh and then the fluid to flow out from the needle, the immunisation fluid, and being absorb by the flesh. It all happen in a spit second.

I was like wailing about it, my last experience with needles and injections was last year. But it seems so long ago.

At that time, they have they needle into my bloodstream at the tip of my finger to get some blood out for analysis.

It was damn painful at that time, you know, and looking at your own blood in a small bottle, the brownish-red blood, it was like a bit scary.

Okay, so I got my health booklet again, and we went to outside the AVA room, again. I still had to take out my shoes and socks and skirt.

And while we were waiting outside the room for our turn, we were all discussing about it, the pain and all those.

Then it was my turn, we were supposed to check our backbones first. A bit disgusting as we have to take out our shirt, from my experience last year. But this year was different.

Emily was the first girl, the bravest one, to have the needles into the skin and we were encouraging her. COME ON, DON'T CRY! She was sort of somewhere between speechless and embarressed.

If it was me, I guess I would be too.

When she finally had the injection, I wasn't there, I was doing the backbone checkup. First, when you went into the room, or rather the small area with curtains and cloths covering it, the nurse will ask you for your health booklet.

Then I will be giving four colour deficiency plate to test for colour blindness. It is very easy to see the numbers, so it wasn't really a challenge for me.

After that, this nurse ask me, "Are your parents tall?" I was totally shock and taken by surprise. I went for health checkups before and no one ever ask me this sort of questions.

I replied yes. I guess it was because I am too tall for my age.

The nurse then ask me questions and checked my backbones and other parts of the body, and off I went for the screening test.

It was super duper boring waiting there for the test and then sitting there while the nurse check your informations and just asked you two questions or so.

And after the screening test, which I hope will never end thought it is boring, is the horrible part of the checkup.

INJECTION!!!!!

I was exchanging places with some others, letting them go first. But my turn will still come, so I cannot escape the frightening needles that sent chills down my spine.

For a split second, the nurse and the needdles look like a witch holding a knife to chop me down into pieces before putting me into the cauldron full of boiling red liquid.

I walk unwilling to the chair, and close my eyes tight shut, covering my face with my hand. I never knew I was so scared of needles.

Later, the nurse tried to calm me down and assure me that it is just an ant bite feeling. I slowing opened my eyes just as the needle went in.

OUCH!

The feeling is like a cold solid object going into your flesh and there is this numb feeling later on. The nurse gave me this cotton wool for covering my wound and I went for the last of the horrors.

After I threw my cotton wool into the rubbish bin, (not throw up), I went to the chair there. The blue sinister looking chair there.

I sat on it and another chill went down my spine. The nurse gave me a pink liquid, a few drops of that medicine and ask me to swallow.

I played with it in my mouth at first, not sure whether or not it is safe. I mixed it with my saliva, not tasting it, and swallow.

It is bitter, very bitter, I almost want to vomit. Those people there laugh at my funny face.

Then the nurse wipe a cold liquid, the numbing thing, I suppose, on my left arm. And there the needle goes in. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PAINFUL LIKE CRAZY!

It was like so painful I can't even lift my left arm up high.

And Yun Xi purposely went to hit the painful part! I hate her so much. It doesn't mean that her arm isn't pain and my arm will not be too.

Well, that is the end of the horrors.

LLLLLLLL

After school, I had to stay back for Math Olympics training with the rest who are selected. I badly want to know my results for the RI Math contest but sadly, I lost the participation code. So bad right?

Thankfully Mr Ho help me and he passed the code to Mrs Chan. Got to asked from her tomorrow.

Next post will be about a weekend spent in Jurong Point Shopping Mall. And I would not post that often now, it is a crucial year. My computer period had end and I got to go.

Start of Term 2

End of Term 1, start of Term 2.

ZZZZZZZ

I remember that days before the school reopens, I was like can not sleep peacefully. I would wake up in the middle of the night, thinking that I was still left with some homework. It was only after a while did I realise I had actually finished all of it on Wednesday. Then, I would wake up very early thinking that there is school that day.

So I was actually very happy that school finally REOPENS!!!

There was nothing to talk about today, actually, except for the tiring Chinese Orchestra practice until five o'clock. N

And the Health Checkup. I like it. Not because that I could skip lessons. I never like skipping lessons, at least not this important year.

When we arrived outside the AVA room, we were asked to sit down and later, take out our shoes and socks. I hate this part the most because the whole floor was like so dirty from the rain and stain with I-don't-know-what-but-is-very-disgusting things.

I went into the AVA room later on, (I am the last of the girls to go in). I got no idea how come I was so slow. I also got no idea why my hand was so um, well, slow and 'inactive'. I mean I don't write that fast.

I was queueing up in the AVA room, waiting to take the height and weight. Soon it was my turn. My height was 164.6cm! My weight was 41 kg. Almost. I wondered why I wasn't that excited about putting on 3kg, but was so delighted about growing a few centimeters taller.

After the measurings, I went to sit beside Melissa and wait for the nurses to measure our sight. I was so happy about this part. Not the part you have to cover your left eye, then right eye.

At first, my right eye was +0.7, but decreases to +0.56! Then my left decreases from +1.0 to +0.78!

SO HAPPY!!!!! =D

I hope my eyesight doesn't get worse.

Anyway, that is all for today. Here is a quiz from Huien Besttie!

Another quiz, from Fiona's bloggie.

Rules of the game; Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you must choose six people to be tagged & list their names. No tag backs!

My 10 weird habits/things ;D
#1] I tend to hummed a tune without myself knowing when very 'into' certain things.
#2] I tend to open the Internet for no reason.
#3] Whenever I read a book, I will be oblivious to the surroundings.
#4] I often drift off to the dream world when doing homework.
#5] I often laugh at events that happens long ago when I remember them.
#6] I had my best ideas and inspiration when, you know what, I was just about to fall asleep.
#7] I often have dreams of me having special powers, like the ability to fly.
#8] I tend to play with things when doing my homework.
#9] I love Math but hate doing Math homework at times.
#10] I love jumping to reach things that are hung on the ceiling.

I of course finished all my homework already or I would not be so free blogging now. You think I got nothing better to do is it?

Adam Khoo Super Kids Programme

This is under the request of one of my besties.

Here is the Adam Khoo Super Kids programme:

DAY 1

I woke up, a bit frightened about the Adam Khoo thing. Actually, it wasn't really the Adam Khoo thing. It was the Chinese Orchestra thing.

Sometimes I wonder how come important things always fall on the same day. We had our first day in Adam Khoo where there will be Introductory and so on.

And just my ill luck that I had to go for Chinese Orchestra practice early in the morning and then after that go to Conference Hall for rehearsal.

I don't want to go. You know what you would do there? You wait for hours there and then go into the performance hall for a few minutes to play the songs and come out.

So we went there just to um... how do I say it in english... okay, just to let those people there arrange the time and all those.

You know those in good classes and joined CO weren't a lot. Just a few only. So does it matter if we go for the rehearsal? And it waste twenty five dollars. Half a day gone.

Anyway, I didn't went for the stupid rehearsal. Well, we went into the AVA room for the programme and the 6L pupils were already there sitting.

We went in and I found a seat beside Fishy. I don't remember who was sitting beside her but anyway, it was to protect Yu Xin from sitting with the irritating Yun Xi who sat beside me in the end.

Why do I say she was irritating? For several reasons. Firstly, I paid money, or rather, my mother paid her hard earn hundred and fifty dollars to let me join the programme and it means one day will be fifty dollars.

And Yun Xi was like talking nonsense and disturbing me the whole time. She said the programme was boring and so on. She also waste her mother's hard earn money just to play with Yu Xin's puzzle and nearly got it confiscated.

Even worst was that she just take my things with asking for permission and then refused to return it to me. I really hate her.

Anyway, the programmes was so fun. Worth the money. At first the first trainer who came in was Danny, with his assistant, De Jun, DJ.

When we were told of his name, we said that there is a boy called Dany in 6R too! And we said he was his brother.

Later, he asked about our class and he said that 6R was protected by 6L and 6U because we were sitting in between the two classes.

It wasn't that funny but some boys laughed. Then he asked us about the Boy Girl Relationship thing.

It was very funny. He asked us if anyone here have girlfriends or boyfriends and everyone, or rather, all the boys pointed at Yu Xiang. Then when asked who are his girlfriends, we pointed at Vanessa and Cheryl.

Vanessa and Cheryl were so embarrassed and they were blushing. OMG....

Then when he asked again, we pointed at Huien and Guoyi. It was so funny. Huien was hiding like mad and Danny said that Guoyi had really GOOD TASTE!!!

Huien still don't admit she is pretty, too humble liao. Furthermore she keep saying she is ugly. No, she is so pretty.

We were divided into two main groups. Banana is the girl's group and Armpit hair is the boy's. Disgusting group name.

Anyway, Danny started talking to us about some stories. He said that there were two types of people in the world.

The first type were like sheeps, no ambitions, no directions, and only knows how to follow others. You know how they killed sheeps?

It was super easy. All you have to do it too shout out BAAAAA, and one by one, the sheep will follow it and walked towards the direction of the killing machines. That is how stupid they were.

The next type of people are like eagles. Do you notice that eagle never travel or fly in flocks? They fly indivdually. this is because, they have ambitions, goals, high self-esteem. They just swooped down and grab their own food and feed to their eaglets.

And you know how the baby eaglets learn to fly? They don't have a tuition teacher to say: Today, we are all going to fly! And now, flap your wings!

No they don't. Instead, they jumped down the cliff where they lived on and tumbled down it. When they reached the bottom, they swooped! And fly up.

This shows that there is always failure before you finally succeeded. It was very meaningful to me.

He also told us that Choices have Consequences. When you choose something, there will be consequence.

It i so true.

You know those Ah Bengs, you may think they are very brave but actually they have very low self-esteem. Whenever they see the police, they will run away. You can't insult them but they can do so to you. I really pity those people.

There is some rules too, and banned words:

  1. I don't know
  2. I am thinking

We are also not supposed to look at the trainer and smile. the funniest part is when we were like talking about what we are not supposed to call Danny.

Some are, Daddy, Nyny, Dandan, Nanny and a few more which I could not remember.

It was so funny.

Later on, in the afternoon, we split up into groups and AHLAMAT!!! I was in the same group as Guoyi, KengSoon and Guan Xun.

Our group name is JUMPER because Guoyi was like jumping all the way to tell Danny the group name. At first we wanted Perfect 11

We design a flag and HeChen was so fussy about everything. Later we did the cheer, which was just same as the original one someone else created and change it a bit. Finally, we finished and went down for lunch.

After lunch, another trainer AhMin came in. He told us that Danny don't allow us to look at him and smile is because of an incident.

He was dining in and hawker centre when he saw a pretty lady. He look at him and smile and was return with a smile too.

Later, he went forward and asked for her number. He discovered that 'she' was actually a gay!!!

OMG, we were laughing like mad. Then after teaching us some things, another trainer, Freddy, came. He wasn't actually that funny. The only funny story he told was that when he was still a student, a relief teacher called him FARTTY. And than annother called him FATTY.

And then there was this story about one of his friends who likes to fart in the worst place, the lift!

After he farted and came out, he looked at him and asked who farted. So he never dare to go into the same lift with him until one day, when his friend when up and the lift came down. Freddy was just about to step in when this smell came out of the lift.

Lor, it was sooooooooooo FUNNY!!!!!

Then, was all the things about out brain. I wasn't paying attention but then Freddy call me out! Thank goodness I know all the facts... And won my group points!

I went home and 6.30p.m. with my grandmother.

(To Bestie, I will post about DAY2 later because I wanted to watch TV now.)

DAY 2

As usual, I went to school. You know what, I was just about to sit down when Guan Xun rushed in and wanted to sit in the second row.

I ignored him and just sitted there and in the end, he was forced to sit in the first row. YAY! I WON!

I think I was sitting down there for quite a while when we were send up to the classroom because it was going to rain and instead of going back to the classrooms like all other classes, we have to go to the hall to take class photo.

Yes, my class for quite slow in the photos which were supposed to be put into the Gallery of Scholars thing.

Because I was tall, I sat in the first row. And Mrs Chan was telling me to put my legs straight like a girl... =.="'

Okay, straight to the point. We went for the Adam Khoo programme and it was Freddy again. OMG... His lesson were like, um... so boring. All he did was ask us to do this and that and draw mind maps and all those.

Other than that was some competition between the two groups.

I nearly fall asleep if not for the Science Revision I bought. later Amin came. I don't quite remember what happen but I think we were supposed to memorised some words and all those. With numbers too.

I split the twenty words up between me, YuXin and Meng Xue. Later on we learn about like drawing pictures to link two words up.

After that, Danny came and we learn the art of Clapping.

You know who learn faster, the adult or kids. Kids of course. When they were send to nursery or kindergardens, their teacher said one day: Today, we are all going to learn about this thing called the Bana-na.

The kids will all go YAY!!! and cheer and clap and then all the information will go into the long term memory.

Then Primary and Secondary school, they might still cheer like kds. But how about JC pupils? The principal said: Lets Congratulates our schoolmate for coming in first for national competition. They will just clap once or twice and that is all.

Now came the adults, if one day, the PM says that there will be no GST or so whatever, they will only look at each other and say 'Good good...'

So, if there isn't clapping and cheering, how could one be excited?

Anyway, we also so a photo of this very pretty girl who got burn alive but survived. Her face was like, disfigured, greatly...

Danny later told us about our parents, and most of us cried. Including me and Yu Xin. It makes me realised how bad I am to my parents. I felt so guilty.

Some boys, like the chicken nest durian head guy, Siao Nan, was like making fun of us. I really feel like kicking him hard and make him can't give birth.

Later, as usual, I went home. I learnt of lot of thing on that day. However, there are some things like we were supposed to say 'I LOVE YOU' to out parents. So mushy. I mean, I feel so weird.

OH SHIT, I forgot something important...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEGAN!!!!

(Bestie, Day 3 in later, must do homework first.)

DAY 3

It was the last day of Adam Khoo programme. So sad...

You know what, I don't know the reason why the school must have this irritating fire drill exercise today. It waste money and time. Further more I had to go down for two time for the fire drill.

Anyway, skip that. Freddy was asking us to do mind maps but I can't be bothered with it. I was watching Huien Bestie wrestling with a few other boys.

As expected, she lost.

Later on, Danny came in and we were force to do 248 up downs as a punishment for being too noisy.

A few boys went up to direct us and man, they were so stupid. There were about 113 pupils in the programme and everyone only has to do 2 to 3 up downs and the 248 is finish. But they don't seem to understand it.

Later, girls came, Lixin and some others directed us and we finish them in a short while. Rizal had to jump nearly a hundred time as he was not doing the up downs but touching and playing with the projector.

After the punishments, we watch this video called the Miracle Man.

It was about this man who had a plane accident and survived it but his diaphragm was damaged and he need a machine to breathe.

However, he persist and suceed in breathing without the help of the machine. He also learnt to talk because before that, there was something wrong with his vocal.... something and he can't make any sounds.

In addition, he can't swallowed and once while trying to swallow some soup, he was nearly choke to death. But in the end, he learnt to do so.

He even walked out of the hospital on his own feet on his own without any one's help. It was so touching.

We then listen to this nice song called "If We Hold On Together" before going for dinner. As usual, Yun Xi was complaining about how yucky the food taste.

After dinner, we went up to the hall for the closing ceremony. It was like, um, lots of people were crying. We could go up to stage and say things like I LOVE YOU to our parents and lots of people were moved and cried.

Huien too... She didn't know that her dad was there and went up to the stage. She cried a lot. Later, when I told her bout that, she felt very awkward.

****

I benifit a lot from this programme. If I have the chance to go again, I would surely go. And those in average classes, YOU MUST GO TOOO!!!

Coming March Holiday

Hi there my blog readers!

The past three days I was attending the Adam Khoo session and thus I have no time to post anything about CAs or the programme itself.

So now here it is, the March Holiday Post Sneek PEAK! I will definitely write about my CA results, the Adam Khoo programme (extreme long), Lollipop and Candy stories, a super boring post on holiday homework and of course my usual Holiday life posts everyday.

Anyway, I have got finish almost half of all the homework and I wanted to finish all of them by this weekend. Except for the newspaper cutting, one everyday, which is 9 cuttings together. The MAGICAL NINE...

Anyway, I am doing my e-learning now. I have to do English, Math, Chinese and Science assignments. Luckily I had finish the Chinese ones.

I also finish one composition. Mind you, I have two to write. One about drugs and another on missing wallet. The one about drugs is a essay writing composition, if I am not wrong. But I don't know the details.

Here is the Composition anyway:

Draft 1

I look at the big shelf display of sport shoes, commenting on how nice they were. I was shopping with my best friend, Jenny, at the Jurong Point Shopping Mall. Suddenly, my eyes caught sight of a particular white sport shoes with sky blue stripes and the events of an embarrassing incident that happened two years ago came flooding into my mind.

“ Hey Mum! My sport shoes had spoilt during the Sports Day last week,” I told my mother, looking sadly at my favourite pair of white and blue sport shoes. “Could I buy a new pair? Pretty please?” I looked up at my mother with the expression of a pitiful kitten, expecting a ‘Yes’ from her.

“All right, you can,” she agreed after a short while of hesitation. Laughing at my cute expression, she handed me a fifty-dollar note which I put into my wallet.

A wave of cold air brush onto my hot and flustered face as I joined the hustle and bustle of the gargantuan shopping mall later on. It was cooling and refreshing compared to the sultry air outside. I skipped towards the nearest footwear in high spirits and started browsing for a pair of sport shoes that would replace the one that had spoilt enthusiastically.

However, I had visited almost three footwear store but none of the sport shoes there suit my taste. Just as I was going to give up the search, I spotted a nicely decorated shop nearby.

I elbowed my way through the throngs of avid shoppers and arrived at the entrance of the shop. I feasted my eyes on the mammoth billboard with a pair of sport shoes that looked exactly like my favourite one. I squealed in delight as my gaze fell on the words printed on billboard. ‘Specially Designed Sport Shoes by Famous Designers at twenty dollars. While Stocks Last!’ it read in big bold letters.

I darted through all the plain shoes shelves and sprinted towards an eye-catching shelf with all the specially designed shoes. I pored over all the beautiful shoes. I could resist no longer. My chubby hands grabbed the white and blue shoes which I had yearned for.

I approached a friendly looking assistant who help me find the shoes of right size for me and with the shoe box in my hand, I dashed towards the long queue of customers. I tapped my foot impatiently as images of me flaunting off my sport shoes in school flashed in my mind.

It was finally my turn and I placed the shoebox on the counter as I searched my pocket for the wallet.

I could not find it.

A chill ran down my spine and my heart skipped a beat. I rummaged my pocket frantically but all I could find was my house keys. I tried my best to swallow the panic that was dancing up and down my throat.

“Can you be quick? The other customers are waiting.” the cashier looked at me without batting an eyelid.

“I… I am… so… sorry, in… a minute…” I murmured so softly that I thought I was the only who could hear my apology.

I could hear angry muttering and frustrated sighs from customers queuing behind me. The cashier tapped her foot impatiently in a way that make me felt so guilty for delaying the other customers. My face was so red that I wished I could dig a hole and hide in there until I found my wallet.

“HEY, JILL!!!” a familiar voice hollered from outside the shop. I turned and saw my brother, Jack, waving my wallet while running as fast as his legs could carry him towards me. “Jill… your… your wallet, you… left… it at… home…” huffing and puffing, he passed me my wallet, trying to catch his breath.

I gave a sigh of immense relief as I gave the unpleasant cashier the fifty-dollar bill and took the thirty dollars change. I thanked my brother profusely as I strolled home with him, carrying the bag of sport shoes I had just bought. What an embarrassment!

“A penny for your thought.” Jenny suddenly nudged me, waking me out of my deep thought.

“Nothing.” I said as we walked over McDonald’s for lunch before continuing our shopping spree.

Well, it was just okay, to me. But there is still lots of area for improvement, what you think? I also finish my Young IT Whiz card. Super Easy.

Anyway, I help Dorothy design her cbox for two of her blog. Go and see and if you think it is super nice, I can design for you too!

*************

I went for Chinese Orchestra Combine practice today and hell we have to practise in the hall! Mr Teo was mad today. At first he wanted me to sit behind the Cello. I did. I moved with Fiona behind. Okay.

5 mins later, he said: HEY I ASK YOU SIT BESIDE CELLO NOT BEHIND!!! YOU GOT EAR PROBLEM IS IT!!!!!?????

Lol. It is not I had got ear problem. He got memory problem. Mr Teo was scolding everyone. Some even have to stand holding their instrument for a long time as punishment.

I escaped the punishment because I WAS SITTING THERE FOR TWO HOURS WHEN IT WAS MY TURN!!!

Fiona was quite grumpy today.

I memorise the Rubik's Cube Formula! Woohoo!!!

Just in case you are wondering why there was only three post on the blog, it is not because I deleted them, I am not crazy. It is because the whole blog file was so large so I decided to reduce it to 3 posts.

Here is a cute website! http://theglobalbible.com/temp/screenclean.swf. Is your computer clean? Go here then!
