Too much STRESS

HELP ME!
I AM UNDER TOO MUCH STRESS!!!

Walao!
Do you know that Mdm Chng gave lots and lots of homework???
She think we are gods or what??!??!
I still havn't finish my synthesis worksheet yet you know??!!!
And I still have to learn Chinese Spelling!!!
Luckily, my grandma say I have to sleep at 10pm which means I still have one and a half hour left.

Tell you what are all the homework I got:
1)First 50 questions of English Revision Paper (Luckily lots of MCQ)
2)Synthesis worksheet:W/S 9to16 (OMG.8 W/Ss in all you know!!!)
3)Math Heuristics W/S 5 (Very Easy)
4)华文试卷 - Complete
5)新列车 32 - 完
Then still have to learn Chinese Spelling!
I normally take 'bout 1 hour to learn so that I could at least get a 88/100.
Guess I have to learn in school tomorrow...

End-of-year exams, SA2, are coming soon... (in short, my nightmare is coming)

Nowadays, most of the Singapre childrens are suffering from 3 types of stress:
#1 Homework Stress
#2 Parents Stress
#3 Relationship Stress

Okay, let me explain to you what are all these stress.

#1 Homework Stress
This type of stress usually occurs when one gets too much homework and do not know how to finish the homework.
Sometimes, when one is not good in school work, he/she will be laugh at by their fair weather friends or stupid enemy. This usually makes he/she feels stressful.
Actually, Homework Stress should be called Stress given by mad teachers. Mad teachers gave lots of homework, have high expectation and wants good quality work. But how can the children have good quality work when they are hurrying to finished all homework given by those mad teachers so that they don't have to stay till late-late to finish the work.
Then, when they didn't produce the so-called good quality work. Guess what happens. Mad teachers tear and throw their paper into rubbish bin and ask them rewrite the whole thing over again.
Worst come to worst, mad teachers might ask the unlucky student to copy the work minimum 5 times and maximum don't know how many times. But the most I have ever copied before was 100 times.
Then, if mad teacher is still not satisfied with the work, the really very unlucky student have to write a 1000 words reflection.
P5&P6 usually have homework stress. Especially those in good classes.
However, other levels classes with mad teachers would also get this type of stress.
Anyway, I have this experience before.

#2 Parents Stress
I don't really know how to describe it but usually, children get this stress when their parents have very very high expectation of them. They do not want to disappoint their parents and had lots of stress.

#3 Relationship Stress
Figure this out yourself.

1st Supplementary

The first supplementary means it is the first sup class after September Holidays.
It is on last thursday but that time cannot blog.
Nothing much during the Supplementary.
Mdm Chng only go through Revision Papers and things like that.
But before that, there are other interesting things happening.
I won't mention the music lessons.
Music lessons are so boring.
I wouldn't attend even them if not for the fact that I won't have to attend Mdm Chng's lessons for half an hour.
So, now only Chinese Lessons are interesting.
Like fo example, 符老师 ask us on Thursday if our parent quarrel and how often they quarrel.
Everyone raise hands.
Then she say,
“父母亲吵架时你们可以去当和事佬。”
Like shit.
Never say I didn't warn you,
If you ever dare to interfere with adult business, this is what they will do to you.
If you interfere with your parents,
The worst you can get from one tight and painful slap on your face
+ the following sentences:

"F**K OF LAH! GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND DO REVISION!" (worst)
"GO GO YOUR HOMEWORK AND DON'T INTERFERE!!!!" (worse)
"We are not quarrelling, we only have different opinions and WHY IN THE HELL ARE YOU HERE GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK!" (bad)

Don't believe?
Go try yourself.
Then of you feel itchy and went to interfere with the adult business of some strangers, this is what you get in return:

符老师 told us that when she was teaching a P3 class years ago,

she ask them the same question and told them to do the same thing.

One boy really go be 和事佬 and know what happen???

He also got one TIGHT SLAP from his father.

What did he do exactly??

He only walk towards his father when his parents are quarrelling,

took his father's hand and make it hold his mother's hand.

So, the moral of the story is...

Some adults are assholes that don't deserves our help.

Remember???

I fall down and hurt my leg and it is really very painful!

I remember I had a worse fall when I was P3.
The scar is still there.
It was so painful.
At that time, I was playing at the park with some other friends.
We were playing Ice and Freeze and I wasn't being pursued by the run very fast catcher.
So I run very fast to avoid being catch and suddenly...
BANG!!!
Actually not BANG lah.
Okay...
My knees knock against the steps of the playground...
& FALL.
Then I got hell lots of problems.
Problem no. 1
How can I ever get home like that?!
My knee is hurt and I still haveto cross the road!
Luckily it is solved seconds later.
Lickily my parents were there.
And I got home.
Second Problem!
How can I bath with a leg like that???
So, guess what I did.
I covered my injured knee with a plastic bag.
Problem 3
I went to sleep and the next day, when i woke up,
I found patches of blood on the bed.
What did I do???

3rd Day of School

Nothing fun.
I have a runny nose and a very bad headache.

Went to school with Huien again.
Then, after flag raising and pledge taking,
Ms Foo told us a great news.
Because our class will be use for PSLE,
they have to do rehearsal.
So Ms Foo assign us to GREEN LAB!
But, bad luck.
Mdm Chng brought us to AVA Room instead.
But it's still better than studying in the stuffy classroom.
Then, Art lesson that time we went to the computer lab.
Mr Seet show us some slides on pictures but most of the time,
I WASN'T LISTENING
'Cause I was busy sending lame jokes to the whole class.
Then I went home with Huien, telling her some lame jokes on the way.
After that, I finished my homework and at about 7:oopm,
Huien suddenly call me and tell me:
THERE IS EARTHQUAKE!
Crazy.
How can there be earthquake in Singapore???
Then I did my REVISION TIME TABLE
and study spelling.
SLEEP ^zzz...zzz...

2nd Day of School

Ah...Ah...AH CHOOOO!!!
Feel so bad today.
I got a flu.
Even worse than the one I got when I go for China Trip.
At least that one only 流鼻涕.
Not Bird Flu LA!
But this one got 流鼻涕, cough and even sneeze.
I keep sneezing during flag raising and even in class.
So I had to wear my favourite blue jacket the whole day.

Actually today will be so boring if not for the chinese periods and that my class is selected for PSLE room.
I went to school with Huien.
Then she told me this stupid dream.
Then MingXuan ask me explain to her some Math questions.
After that, flag raising.
SHIT!
The idiot Waikin and Carrot Jarret sit behind me!
Special warning to DIRTY-MINDED Fishy.
Then Mdm Chng go through papers and then Chinese lesson.
Before recess actually have a 10 math quiz.
The questions:

1) There were 80 members in the club. 30% were girls. After some girls left the club, the percentage of girls dropped to 20%. How many girls left the club?

Ans: 10 girls

2) Mrs Singh is 30 years old. Rangit is 1/15 Mrs Singh age. In how many year's time will Mrs Singh's age be 3 times Rangit's age?

Ans: 12 year's time

Oh ya... Chinese lesson.
符老师 talk about the word 矛盾.
矛盾 is Maw Thun
矛 is the spear, 盾 is the blocking that thing.
Then she show us a flash about this person go sell 矛 and 盾.
He says the 矛 can pierce through anything while the 盾 can block anything.
So someone ask him use 矛 pierce the 盾.
矛盾 also means something like 左右为难.
Then 符老师 say actually parents when scold and beat us feel very 矛盾.
Then she ask our parents usually beat us where.
Know what idiot Waikin says?
"My parents beat me everywhere."
Which means that place also beat.
I told Lixin and she told others and everyone laugh.
Then after that, we go for lunch.
After lunch, we have to spend time arranging the tables because our classroom will be used as PLSE room.
So, we have to take out almost everything on the notice board,
arrange the tables and chair and move all cupboards and wardrobes and boxes away.
I help alot.
So, Mdm Chng gave me and a few others who help her some books.
Some people, including me, also got a paket of cheese ball,
Left behind during VOR (Voices of Rulang'nites).
Then, we have new seating position.
Mdm Chng say must be boy-girl-boy-girl arrangement.
So, I am force to separate with Yu Xin and Huien and had to seat

CRAZY.
Then she say:
"I WANT TO HAVE 2 YOUNGER SISTER, 3 YOUNGER BROTHER, 2 ELDER SISTER AND 6 ELDER BROTHER!"

I DON'T EVEN WANT TO HAVE ONE SIBLING!!!!
THEY ARE ALWAYS SO FUSTRATING!!!

Luckily, I got to go home later on to 'escape' from the 'horror'.

School Reopens

Like I have said in previous post,
School Holidays are over.
Which means School REOPENS!
And I feel so stress.

Xiaxue never post for long long time.
Joke Diary everyday got new joke,
Mosty sexually related.
No offence.

I posts everyday,
10 days already 20 posts,
And there's still more to come,
Mostly about boring school.

And I am under homework stress.
Especially those chinese ones.
Though I finish 周记 liao,
I still got other things didn't do.

And on Friday, 14^th September 2007,
Which is suppose to be a holiday,
For all the a.m. pupils,
Because of PSLE Marking day.

Mdm Chng, who's scared of cockroaches,
Is gonna 'invite' all of us (the class lah),
Back to school to do revision,
And also toture us.

Everyone heard and mourn like hell,
But stil have to go Supplementary,
So the class said go for Study Camp,
From 12p.m. to next Monday.

My Math Mock test got 94/100,
My Science Mock test got 87/100.
And I still got to improve on them
Because Math and Science are my strongest subject.

I hate languages, you should know.
And I also hate composition,
They never let me imagine,
Just ask me stick to the topic and write nonsense.

Even if I imagine,
All I'll write are all rubbish,
Huien, Fiona and Yu Xin,
All know that very very well.

最感动我的事

读二年级时候，我不喜欢读书，常常不交作业，上课不专心听课，回到家也不复习功课。而且还经常迟到，只是瞒着父母。结果年终考试的成绩一落千丈。但是，我还不吸取教训，照样我行我素。
有一天，我的级任老师叫我到办公室去，说有话要跟我说。她跟我讲了一个故事，讲诉一个小男孩，小学时读书非常好，年年考到第一名。后来，他到了一间非常好的中学，在那里交到了一些损友。每天一放学就和他们一起到游戏场去玩，不务正业。结果他的成绩一落千丈。但是，他还不吸取教训，而且还学会偷东西。有一次，他被同学发现偷东西，被学校开除。可是，他瞒着父母，不跟他们讲，继续和埙友们混在一起。结果有一天，他的一位埙友嘲笑他，他一发怒，把那人给杀了，被警方捉了起来，被判死刑。到那时，他向改过自新，但是已经太晚了。
老师把故事说完后，便问我，要不要像他一样。我满脸泪水的摇着头，非常感动。过后，我努力读书，进了好班，不时不刻地提醒自己，不要学故事里的男孩。

8th Day of Sep Holidays

I am doing my Compo Draft 2 for Unexpected Visitor.
Just now, I just went down to ride bicycle.
Then before that, I went for outing with Huien.
Got an A- for the painting.
Let me show you:

An Unexpected Visitor

The brilliant rays of the afternoon sun shone right through the curtains. The fresh air filled my lungs and I felt refreshed and exhilarated. I was struggling to finish my homework for the weekend. After a while, I felt sleepy so I went to my bed to take a short nap before continuing my weekend homework.

After about half an hour, a series of furious knocks on the door startled me from my afternoon nap. Feeling immensely irritated, I strode to the door and opened it.

“Who is that?” I ask in an irritated tone as I opened the door. Finding no one at the door, I closed it, thinking that it might just be a prank.

Just as I was going back to my room to continue my nap, I heard the knocks on the door again. Fuming with anger, I went to open the door but saw nobody outside.

“Boo!” a voice shouted just as I was about to close the door. My heart jumped. I saw a mop of black and beige and then a face pop up.

“Sally!” I cried out in shock, “Weren’t you in America?”

Sally was my best friend who had migrated to America a year ago because her father’s boss had sent him to America to work for two and a half years. Both of us were very sad when we learnt that we had to leave each other. No word could describe our sorrow. On the day she was leaving, I went personally to the airport to bid her farewell, sobbing sorrowfully. It was the saddest day of my life.

“Well, it’s now school holiday in America, so I asked my parents to bring me to Singapore to visit you.” Sally replied in a familiar voice I hadn’t heard in one whole year, “And I am sorry if I did knock the door a little too hard, I tried pressing the door bell but no sound came out. I guess your door bell had spoilt.”

“Never mind about that,” I asked, “but why didn’t you tell me that you were coming to Singapore? Have you forgotten my phone number?”

“No, I didn’t forget you phone number. I just want to give you a surprise.” Sally replied, smiling mischievously.

In my excitement, I had forgotten to let Sally in. I quickly invited Sally into the house. We seated on the sofa and I gave her a cup of water to drink. My eyes glittered with tears of happiness when I saw my best friend. We hugged each other, crying uncontrollably. After a while, we wiped away our tears and started chatting about what we done in the year. She told me that her parents had some business to attend to in their company in Singapore and couldn’t come to visit my parents and I. Later, she handed me some presents and my favourite food she had bought for me. I learnt from her that she would be staying in Singapore for half a month and she could spend the night in my house today if my parents allowed.

When my parents came home from their shopping spree, I explained to them the reason of Sally’s sudden visit. They were surprise and happy at the sight of her. I seek permission from them asking if Sally could stay in the house tonight. At first, they hesitated, but seeing how happy Sally and I are to be together again and they do not want to disappoint me, they agreed. We jumped for joy when we heard the great news.

After dinner, we played our favourite board game, ‘Monopoly’, in my bedroom before going to sleep at midnight. I planned to bring Sally to our favourite places in Singapore during the two weeks.

7th Day of Sep Holiday

I'm so tired!
Well, I had to go back to school for Supplementary from 8am to 3.30pm and then go for Chinese Orchestra till 5pm.
Which means, I have to wake up at 7.30am.
Then, tomorrow still have to go for Chinese Orchestra from 7.45am to 10.15am.
2 and a half hours!!!
And I HAVE TO WAKE UP AT 7.oo am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I am going for tuition class.
I have to finish my Math Revision Paper during the class so that I won't have any work during the weekend.
Except...... the chinese homework which I havn't even touched.
Don't bother to do anyway...
And I still have to write my Compo Draft 2!

Why must holidays end like that!!!!!!!!

I am scared that my grandma will nag again 'bout me wearing the Monkey clothes, the one I always wear to Tuition Class.
And she nagged because I have tons of clothes:

69% are those my mother bought for me whenever she go shopping.
20% are those my mother bought for me for Chinese New Year and things like
that.
10% are those she wore last time but don't fit her now.
The remaining 1% are my uniforms for school and other classes.
The clothes I wore make up only 2% of all my clothes.
1% are the uniforms are the other 1% are the jeans and shorts and T-shirt I
usually wore, + my favourite blue jacket.

I am so bored and I have nothing to blog about except how bored I am.

6th Day of Sep Holidays

YAY!!
I had finally finish the reflection I was supposed to write for IPW.
This are the things I am supposed to include in the reflection:

Here is the reflection:

My Reflection for IPW

I learn about how to present our work and how to get along with others. At first, when I first started doing the Project Work, I can’t get along with my group members quite well because we can’t decide on what kind of robot we are advertising and what are the functions of the robot. We also have different ideas for the storyline need for advertisement we are supposed to make. In the end, we choose the entertainment robot. However, no one wanted to act as a robot, so, we decided to use Yu Xin’s Lego pieces to build the robot. Then, we assigned two members, Yu Xin and me, to do the storyline.

After the storyline was done, we have to find time to gather together to film the video using Yun Xi’s video camera and we decide to do that on Friday. On that day, however, Yun Xi suddenly said that her mother did not let her bring her video camera. So, we have to use my digital camera, which could film short video, to film the advertisement and we decided to gather again on Monday and Tuesday to finish the advertisement and the Presentation. On Monday, Yiyuan couldn’t stay back because she has CCA and Yu Xin is ill. So, Jessica acted in the advertisement while Yun Xi moved the robot using the handle at the back of the robot. Then, Jessica and I did part of the presentation. At that time, I was very worried that we can’t finish the Project Work. The next day, Yun Xi couldn’t stay back so we gave her the video I film for her to edit at home. The rest of us did the presentation and I wrote the script. Finally, we finished presentation and the advertisement.

The technical skill I learnt is how to edit a video using Windows Movie Maker. However, I encounter some problems during the process. The computer is too slow and it kept hanging when editing the video. Sometimes, I had to close the whole programme and start all over again because the computer had hanged.

On the day before the presentation, I read the script again and try to present in front of the mirror without looking at the script. On the presentation day, I felt very nervous. I tried very hard to keep eye contact with the audience. I was scared that I suddenly forgot what I was supposed to say. I was also scared that I pronounced any words wrongly, which explains why I am speaking very softly and not very clear. I was glad that the presentation has enough information despite the grammatical errors. We will try to change the grammatical errors we make and put the company logo and tagline on every slide in the future. As for the video, we didn’t put lots of music because we couldn’t find ant nice music.

5th Day of Sep Holidays

SHIT!
My computer keep hanging!!!!
Okay, it is getting better.
What homework I'm left with is the Chinese one, which I am too lazy to even touch it.
Then I have to finish my mother's homework, not a lot.
I hate 周记 cause I have to write about 根-百家姓 和 行业 & 最感动我的一件事.
It is so difficult.
Then there is 2 Chinese Revision Papers.
And I still have to do my mum's homework for the holiday.
I haven't even touched them.
Actually I only have to do

One whole unit of Vocabulary Assessment book
+
One whole unit of 高级华文 Assessment book.

All of them are extraordinary EASY!
Let me tell you:
There is this simpleton who call me almost everyday, asking me to go her house.
Guess who is she?
Give you a clue, she is irritating and is plain stupid.
Go guess yourself.
Anyway, I have to finished my mum's homework now.

I am watching Ratatouille. Don't be mistaken, I watch it from a DVD my mum bought for me when she went overseas. THE DVD IS NOT PIRATES. You can watch the movie in cinema in Singapore. But, you must pay $money$ for it. It is not free. Well, I have to watch the video. Wait for me to finish watching then I will show you a trailer and tell you what the story is about. The rat so CUTE! 4th Day of Sep Holidays

I am bored to death!!!! Good that I have homework to keep me busy. But I'm just too lazy to do the homework. And no one is online on MSN to chat with me! Okay. I do my Compo then. Just thought of an idea. I will write about... a friend who had immigrated to America. Wait for 1 hour.

Okay. Compo finished. Read it below but this is only first draft so very lousy:

A series of furious knocks on the door startled me from my afternoon nap. Feeling immensely irritated, I strode to the door and opened it.

“Sally!” I cried out in shock, “Weren’t you in America?”
“Well, it’s now school holiday in America, so I asked my parents to bring me to Singapore to visit you.” Sally replied

Sally was my best friend who had migrated to America because her father’s boss sent him to America to work for 2 years. Both of us were very sad when we learnt that we had to leave each other. On the day she was leaving, I went personally to the airport to bid her farewell.

I quickly invited Sally into the house. We seated on the sofa and I gave her a cup of water to drink.

Tears well up in my eyes when I saw my best friend. We hugged each other, crying uncontrollably. After a while, We wiped away our tears.

“I am sorry if I had knock the door too hard,” Sally said suddenly, “I tried pressing the door bell but no sound came out. I guess your door bell had spoilt.”

“Never mind,” I asked, “but why didn’t you tell me that you are coming to Singapore? Have you forgotten my phone number?”

“No. I just want to give you a surprise.” Sally replied, smiling mischievously.

We chatted for a long while. Just then, my parents returned home from their shopping trip. They were surprised to see Sally so I told them what had happened.

"Oh!” my mother exclaimed, “Then are you staying for the night or are you going back to your hotel?”

“I am staying at your house for the night,” she said, smiling, “I have already asked my parent.”

I felt very happy when I heard that she is staying for the night. Later in the evening, I learnt from her that she would be staying in Singapore for a week.

I planned to bring Sally to our favourite places and around Singapore during the week.

That's the composition. Now left chinese homework. Byebye.

3rd Day of Sep Holidays

So BORED!!!!!!!!!!!
I left Compo and Chinese Homework.
I don't know what to write!!!
Then today just went back for IPW.
Still have to go back school again on Friday for Supplementary.
Try to finish all homework by tomorrow.
But... can anyone give me an idea on WHAT TO WRITE for Compo - Unexpected Visitor.
I am now checking my Yahoo email. OMG. 11 new emails.
Actually that's not alot.
I remember there was once I didn't check my email for one whole month and when I open it,
87 NEW MAILS! All send to me by my mum. All very funny and interesting ones.
Now I guess I have about 220 emails send to me by my mum.
If you want any of them, well, I write down the titles of those I can send you one, not much, and then my email. Just send the title(s) and your email here.

2nd Day of Sep Holidays

Still the same bored feeling.

I went down to ride bike again, in the evening and this time round, Ruyi and Huihui not here. But another girl, named, Yeping is there. Felicia told me is her art class friend. Anyway, we played 'TOM and JERRY'. Here are steps on HOW TO PLAY THE GAME:

1. Use 'Open Numbers' or 'Scissors, Paper, Stone' or any other method to choose the TOM.
2. The remaining will be JERRY and will have to think of a word for TOM to guess. Like Hangman.
3. If TOM gets it right, he could start catching JERRY.
4. TOM must catch all JERRYs to not be TOM anymore.
5. The first person who is caught by TOM will be TOM.
6. Repeat Steps 1-5 ^{IF YOU ARE AN IDIOT}.

On Friday, me and Huien got into the class and set up classroom, blahblahblah. Then when finished, we switched off all lights and then try to scare Mdm Chng. Too bad, Mdm Chng enter through bad door. But after that we ask her search for the presents. Guess what she said, "You are the 1^st class ever who ask me search for presents." Then, we ask her open up Mengxue's present, a cushion, and she thought it was a COCKCROACH!
